Is your xbox connected directly to the powerpoint in the wall, or does it use a powerboard. Try and connect it directly and see if that helps for you, I've been seeing reports that it's helped others, and I've had a similar issue and it's seemingly improved
by doing this. Additionally if you can move your router closer this may also assist.

Finally, are you using an external drive at all with your console?

  2. Just found out my issue was entirely caused by my external SSD plugged in. Unplugged it for immediate improvement. Going to try and let the xbox team know and see if anything can be done.

The problem definitely can be your wifi. could easily have crosstalk between a neighbors network causing it

Ahh, just saw the post that you found a solution... either way, if you have any further problems id be trying a wire. wifi gives me issues... cause theres like 9 other networks near me and obviously that means everyone is overlapping channels a lot, could be
a similar situation where you are.

Just got a replacement unit for mine. I live in a forest in Australia so signal congestion isnt an issue!

  5. I have the same issue with my replacement model which suggests this is a design flaw for Xbox One X consoles on WiFi. It disrupts the signal just enough to prevent a stable connection through the power interference I guess. This is likely because it's a smaller
console so the internals are closer together, whereas with the original Xbox One it was bigger to avoid overheating so the interference didn't affect it as much, and the side port was further away from the receptors? Guess I won't be using my SSD anymore Too many Xbox One X consoles randomly disconnecting from internet :(

The generic responses are becoming quite ridiculous, being that this is a known issue with many topics online speaking of this exact issue. Have reset my Xbox, cleared the cache and mac address, etc. (every bit of
advice that has been given I have tried) and it continues to happen. Also, I realize it will be pointless to send my console in for a replacement because someone else who is having the issue has a brand new white Xbox One X. My Nintendo Switch stays connected
to the same wireless connection flawlessly. The team really needs to appropriately acknowledge and address this issue that so many are having with their Xbox One X consoles.

  9. How far is your xbox from your router? Same room? Have you experimented with different distances?

About 3-4 ft. maybe. Yes, same room. Haven't moved distances at all.

  11. Hmm okay, thanks for the reply! Your issue sounds quite different to the one i had, although both had to do with WiFi. I discovered that plugging in SSDs can cause interference that more or less prevents a stable connection at a distance, but disconnecting
it resolved it. My theory is the smaller console footprint has negatively impacted on their ability to connect over certain distances compared to other xbox ones.

I'd try plugging in your console into another location for a different network to completely rule out those issues. If its still having trouble you probably have a faulty unit.
