This happens on all devices and browsers, tried ever tip in the book. (both on wifi and mobile network) even took the trip to the neighbour, same result.

On the Xbox I cannot access "online safety and privacy", "content restriction" or any family features (add family members and so on).

Is there something up with my Microsoft account?

I have had this problem for a while too. For months in fact!!!! I contacted Support and they too had my support ticket escalated to a higher level. My initial contact with MS support was Sept 3, 2019. I've
asked for an update on the status of my ticket on multiple occasions and I don't get any response. I had to contact MS support again and still nothing..... I am getting beyond frustrated with this issue!

    Hi Lars,

Thanks for posting the information on what is going on. Try accessing the child accounts privacy on the Xbox itself. So you will log onto your account(parent account), then go to settings>account>family. Under family you choose your child profile then privacy
settings. See if you are able to adjust them this way on the console. If not you may need assistance from support as there may be an issue with your profile.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

    • Step 1 ----select Xbox One
    • Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
    • Step 3-----select show contact options

Step 4 ----select request call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

    Hope this helps.

    Brad

    Hi,

Let me give you the story,

I replaced the old OG Xbox one with a Xbox one S today, and startet with loggin into my account.

But I noticed problems as soon as I was going to add my childerns accounts.

I can not add them using the family account menu. As soon as I click on it, it says "We can't get your family account information, please check back later" (something like that).

This goes for content restriction (content restrictions are in place, but cannot be changed until we can contact the service)

and for Online safety and privacy (somthing about not beeing able to connect to the service).

I have to translate these error messages from norwegian, but you catch my drift.

I first figured there was something wrong with my firewall (pfsense), but everything else is working as it should.

When I noticed I could no get into privacy settings from account.xbox.com, I tried just about everything, changing dns, dns flush, delete cookies, rebooting just about every piece of equipment on my network.

    BUT:

I could add my childrens accounts them as normal accounts from the main screen -> home -> all the way to the left -> add account/user.

But I seem to have to give them permission EVERY time they start an app or game (even those below their given age).

And I mean every time, if they play lego worlds, and close it, I have to give the permission again, even though I clicked Always allow.

So there seems to be something up with my account, I have no clue what to do.

In my search for an answere I found a post from 1.september describing the same problem with too many redirects, but it had no answeres.
