Too early to judge GWG

I understand why people are hating xbox one gwg offers. But, you guys need to remember is the gaming library is pretty small. I'm not going to say "deal with it" ever. But you guys have to wait. Also other people need to remember that even though it free,
they want money. They have this offer to please fans and to get new fans for $$$. If they start giving away bad games.. then its the consumers job is to demand better games. Right now you cant complain.. but in the future xbox has no reason to not give us
better games

Knew this was coming due to the GWG offered for next month & the "cough" quality of this weeks deals with gold.

 

Like Ive said in the previous threads, Im not too upset about the offerings(2 bad games, 1 good game imo) other than Max being offered twice. I hope its not a direction they continue with the program.

 

Why hating? The games are free?! I'm pretty sure Xbox Live is not just for online, I think it goes towards security and other stuff. Games with gold was recently added too, paying for xbox live gives us a bonus of free games and deals. A year or two ago
there was no gwg and dwg.

lol, I was mainly talking to Masta and others who think games with gold is rubbish. Some games have been great like... Dead Island, Dead Rising 2, Halo 3, even though I played those previously cuz I'm a gamer, but others might have not. Street Fighter IV
is now currently one of my favorite games. Ive yet to play Assassins Creed II, which I heard was great. Crackdown was nice to play again. Charlie Murder is quite fun. Gotham City Impostors was one of my favorite fps's which is now free. Ascend Hand of Kul
is pretty good. Deadlight is fun, which I still have to finish. Hitman Absolution and Lara Croft: GoL were decent. Sleeping Dogs was awesome which was another free game. I also really enjoyed Fable III, and I still have to play Dust, and Gears of War. So,
games with gold overall is pretty awesome. Even if the games are old titles, they still might be very good and they're free. And if you have already played one of the free games, well someone else might have not. Like Masta said, games will probably get better.
Think about it, as time goes on next gen games get better and certain next gen games will become old which then will become free. So games with gold with improve as developers make more games.

 

From my own point of view the only issue I have had is that out of the three games offered I already owned two and have played the other one previously, which is just tough luck lol.

It would have been good if Max and The Curse of Brotherhood wasn't offered two months in a row but I am not overly fussed by it.

 

With such an extensive library of games from the Xbox consoles and the PC I think GwG could be fantastic, it does offer the odd title I don't own or would like to play again (Crackdown), but, mostly it has been games I have no interest in, the following

Hello everyone

Since I've never been able to participate in the "Games with Gold" on the Xbox 360 (due to HDD space issues) I need to ask this question...

I've seen disc games become free downloads in conjunction with indie games, but do you think that the overall quality of "Games with Gold" will continue to put disc games in their line up?

it was years into the 360 lifecycle before GwG launched and thus we got 'better' titles on the 360.

IMO they shouldn't of offered any titles until a year or more down the line, however i'm not going to complain regarding what they have given so far - free is free is free after all and if i dont like the title i dont need to keep it.

 

@Lei Fang not having sufficent HDD space shouldnt stop you from getting the free games. I dont even have a 360 but still add the games to my download queue for when I decide to get another one. You should do the same, especially if a game comes up that you
really want to play.

To answer your question though Lei, the overall quality of games for both XB1 and 360 should improve eventually. Especially on XB1.

I don't know how anyone could complain about games that are free. They're FREEEEE!!!!!

Most of us got a Xbox one to play our favorite AAA games,i guess....

So,even if i'm disapointed with Gold policy changes,i 'm not looking after "free" AAA games that i already own or other AAA games that i don't care even for "free".....

I bought Thief , Tomb Raider and Ryse season pass because of Gold discount,good deals.

I think to give away digital indies titles is a good way for some gamers to discover new games that they might enjoy and for devs it's a good opportunity to promote their games and having gamers playing them.
