Tonight Is "Naruto Night"

Yes "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Storm" is unleashed at Midnight tonight.

Just over 9 hours to go.

This game would have released late last year but they held it back so they could include the kids. Who's kids you ask? That would be spoilers.

CyberConnect doing what CyberConnect do best this will go from where the last one left off to the very Finale of the anime series.

We were getting to a point where I was seriously considering getting a Playstation for some Japanimation goodness but with "Naruto" and "Arslan: Warriors Of Legend" coming out next Friday that should keep me going for a while.

Looking to some overlooked Xbox 360 games

That's a pretty vague response regarding the Naruto games, the exclusive Xbox Naruto titles or the newer ones?

I personally only found the Xbox Naruto games to be a ton of fun with its cool way of making the attacks with the analogue sticks, original anime music, 2D fighting style but for the story itself I didn't really bother with it.

 

Naruto Heaven.

There's more Naruto Content in this game than you'll find noodles at Ichiraku.

So much content. So many characters. So much to do.

Naruto Heaven is a lovely place.

 

Is it like an open world adventure game? I played a Naruto game back on the 360 and I actually really liked it. I'm not a big anime fan, but Ninja Scroll is still one of my all time favorite movies and that is anime.

 

Story Mode allows you to play through the Manga / Anime story.

Adventure Mode allows you to have your own story which takes place after the Finale Naruto as far as the Manga is concerned.

Online Battle does what they say on the tin. You fight people online in ranked or unranked matches.

Free Battle lets you fight the computer, a buddy in local co-op or just make the computer fight itself in COM vs COM.

All the while collecting stuff.

The immersion is pretty good with the original voice actors for both the Japanese and Western productions but where the game really shines is bringing pivotal moments of the manga / anime to life. This it does masterfully and sets the bar for the industry.

For Naruto afficianados the game is a paradise and it's a testament to how good a job Cyber Connect 2 do with their games that people not generally following the manga / anime can play and still have a good time.

My copy of "Ninja Scrolls" is sat right next to the One right now.

The game is a work of art.

Some of the most spectacular Anime you'll ever see in a video game.

As far as Naruto games goes... this one unlocks the Ninth Gate

Easily the best thing out on the XBox ONE right now.
