Tomb Raider

I bought Tomb Raider for Xbox One and downloaded it and now it won't play. Everytime I try to play it goes back to the home screen. Any suggestions?

Tomorrow we will see an announcement from Square Enix about the next Tomb Raider game.

Possibly the last in the Lara Croft story.

Personally I can't wait as Tomb Raider and Rise of were both fantastic.

None of that helps. Everytime I try to play it, it just jumps back to the home screen.

 

Try quitting the game: highlight Tomb Raider on your home screen, press the start/view button, and the select quit. Try opening it up again (for me, this solves the problem 99.9% of the time).

If that doesn't work, try a hard reset (hold the power button for 5-10 seconds, wait for the click, and then wait for the power brick to turn an amber color). Good luck!

 

still didn't work. the game is brand new and it don't work. it makes me mad.

 

I have the disc version, it works fine. Have you tried uninstall/reinstall?

 

I also have the disc. It installs and then when I play it, it goes back to the home screen automatically.

 

Uhh. Return the disc and get a new one?

 

I have this happen to me every so often...try loading up another game then load TR back, or do a hard reset to the system, one of those two things usually fix it for key,best of luck!
