Tomb raider out now

Street date has been broken. The GameStop I work at is seilling both current and next gen copies as of today.

If the street date has been broken then you might aswell buy it an enjoy it. I was sold GTA V a day early on the condition that I took it away in a brown paper bag until I got to my car and told my friends so that the shop could sell more copies.

 

Tick tock game over here opens in 3 hrs,il be ringing,I know theyve got the copies already in my local game.

If they refuse to sell then try smaller shops and unspecialised shops like supermarkets. There can sometimes be confusion about what the official street date as the stock has been taken, this has worked to my advantage in the past.

So we all know the retailers that sold gta5 early got in trouble,is this all an official release thing then?I assume theyve been given the go ahead from 'mib',,are we gonna see it on the xbox 1 store early then?

 

Once one company gets penalized for breaking street date, it's 'released' and free game for the rest of the companies. So yes, it is officially released.

That's interesting. The GameStop I work at isn't allowed to sell current gen copies till next week. I guess it's up to the district manager.

Framerate actually does matter. The difference between 60 FPS and 30 is big and can effect control and flow of gameplay. Plus is look a heck of a lot better. Play Madden 08 on PS3 which runs at 30 FPS and then play the 360 version which runs at 60 to see
what I mean. The controls are more responsive and the entire experience just feels better. Of course a game running at 30 FPS can still be good, but if you have a choice then 60 is just better. I don't own a PS4 yet, but i'll be getting this game on that when
I do get one.

 

It depends a lot on the game how much it matters. For games like DR3 and Ryse, 30 FPS is a non-issue and my brain never really registers low FPS (except if it would dip lower). However like.. take 30 FPS in GTA V which is quite a similar kinda game (3rd
person view), but take a fast car, then you notice the "low FPS". So it depends how "fast" the game is whether it feels problematic.

And TR feels a lot more similar to Ryse and DR3 than fe. Forza or Madden, I don't think it's gonna be an issue. Obviously 60 is still always better, but still

I shall keep my eye out if any shops here in the UK have it before next Friday, I doubt it though. For the one's that have it already, hope your enjoying it even though I'm ignoring you until I have my copy ;-)

 

Well I called 3 main retail places that sell xbox one games and all said 31st of dec,still no uploads on upload?would they block them for some silly reason?yes they will be on utube no doubt,but I want to see the actuall xbox one in action.
