Tomb Raider Definitive not that "Definitive" lol

The XBox ONE is definately the best version out there.



It has more gameplay options than the other versions available where people are having to change weapons manually with the D-Pads and breaking the immersion to pause the game to check out the map.



Grab it for the other console if you fancy a more "last gen" feel.

Oh it all makes sense now! You can use Kinect to switch weapons on the fly so it doesn't matter at all that the Xbox One version runs at a much lower frame rate and is, in some cases, running at a lower resolution. Yeah, I think
the Xbox One has the better version. Thanks for pointing that out.

When it comes to "Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition" Sony's 60FPS are essentially superfluous.



If they want to hike a game that plays perfectly at 30FPS up to 60 FPS and then say "Look... ours runs at a higher FPS..." then good for them.



It doesn't make it play any better.



When it comes to the "Definitive Edition" that's what you get on the XBox ONE. If you're in the mood for something decidedly more "Last Gen" then you can use any of the other consoles it's available on.



Sony have essentially knitted a sweater with a 3rd arm sleeve.

Sorry bud, a higher native resolution and higher frame rate are so last gen. If a console game doesn't sport sub-1080p resolution, an average of 30 FPS (or less) and if the game doesn't have Kinect integration, then it can't be
accepted as current gen.

On paper yes but when it comes to playing the game you're not really going to notice the difference.



(That's "in real life terms").

 

Maybe you don't, but it is definately apparent when you go from playing a match of Call of Duty in 60 FPS, then to a game of Halo with 30 FPS. It's like playing a slideshow. Is it huge? No, but it definitely better than 30 FPS with the ability to yell at
you TV.

I wish gamers would let the resolution nonsense go so we can get games at 60fps more often. Fps actually matter for gameplay purposes. Resolution likely won't drop below HD so it really doesn't matter.

Never gonna happens but i do agree with you on this. The good is that sometimes pushing is the only way to get things like the customers want.

I really wish more games like Forza amd Ryse . I heard so many good things about TRDE so bring it on MS n devs.

Sounds like the issue is with your television.



HALO doesn't look as good as good as the stuff on the ONE but it certainly plays as smoothly.
