Tomb Raider DE crashing (same spot)

if i could, i would make a video of the way i got it...

but as soon i succeded, i saved it and had no save before the ramp... :-(

 

I actually had this issue one time during my first playthrough in the exact same spot. I did a full reset on my console (hold the power in for 10 seconds) to completely shut it down. Restarted the console and it was fine. Unfortunately, when I got to 89%
of the game completion, I got the black screen, corrupted save file error. I had to satrt completely over. At this point, I began utilizing all 3 save slots regularly. I completed the single player 100% today, and never needed the backups. Lots of fun having
to collect all the darn collectibles again. Oh well... 2 achievements left.

 

ok i tried the save thing and it worked for me after i deleted the other save. So restart game on new save file, play until auto save. Quit then reload original file and save over the new save file and delete the other one and it should work

 

I was going to try the suggestion Xbox1981 posted, but when I started the game it started me past the ramp and the shield guy. I've been playing ever since.I'm not sure how it started me in a part of the game I hadn't been to yet but whatever. This game
definitely has its quirky bugs. Square Enix also replied to my ticket and just stated to power cycle the xbox while it was on. I had already tried that with no luck. When the game finally started working I didn't try the power cycle it just started to work.Crossing
my fingers it continues to do so.

 

Ok Submitted an email reporting the cut scene crash issue I've had. I think I'll try one more time and use the three save slots so I have a back up incase the save file gets corrupted. Seriously thinking of buying a PS4 for multiplatform games, anyone
know if this is a Xbox One only issue or are PS4 owners suffering as well.

 

Square Enix being no help at all. First they told me to power down xbox which didn't work. Then they suggested for me to check I have my sound turned up!!! Seriously...yes square Enix I am having sound and crashing issues because I have not turned the volume
up! They will not answer if a patch is coming or if I can get my money back. Not sure what to do now...

 

Ok seems like a lot of people are having the same issue or similar issue, all I've done is restart the game on another save slot and managed to do the whole storyline without a freeze (at the same time utilising 2 save slots). Before overwriting the corrupt
save slot to use as a backup I reloaded it to check if the issue was there and it was...

I'm doing the game again on the harder difficulty and I've experienced just 1 freeze which was during the cutscene on the chopper that Lara jumps on from the burning building. Thankfully the Xbox isn't freezing and it's just the game, but my only other game
(Call of Duty Ghosts) isn't freezing so I know it's an issue with TR.

Square Enix replied to me and told me to use the power-cycle solution like everyone has already tried. They said "hopefully" there will be a patch to fix the issue.....hopefully!?!? umm ok so do they KNOW if there will be a patch or are they HOPING someone
in their own company is formulating one and they don't know it yet lol...

 

@OriginalPost: I have exactly the same problem!

 

The save-trick postet by "|| C DoG ||" fixed this problem for me!!

 

I'll try to explain how I passed. In fact it is necessary that you realize that the game does not crash when you try to jump into the void, on the right. And even when you cross the "wall bug". So try your luck several times, ALWAYS JUMPING IN THE VOID,
and at some point the game will make you start over after the famous "wall bug". Oh and always try to reach the balcony without jumping onto.
