    I was recently administered a communication temp-ban that was supposed to run from 7 pm last night until 7 pm tonight, so an "official" 24 hours. However, this ban was actually administered when i received the "notification of enforcement"
    message via Xbox live. I received this message 5 hours before the "official" start time of this temp-ban, but i felt the effects immediately. I was unable to talk to or hear any of my friends in game or party chat, and when i tried a hard reset it then told
    me I "didn't have the account privileges" to play the games I wanted to online. This was t around 2 pm, 5 hours before the ban was supposed to start.

    Under the prerequisites for filing for a case review, it states that the ban must be longer than 24 hours, which mine is "officially" not. But in reality, its run time will come out to 29 hours, which means I can't file a case review even though it will
    last more than 24 hours. My frustration is amplified by the fact that the reason I was banned was because a group of 8 was harassing my friend in-game and in a party, so when I tried to defend him they mass reported me even though they were the ones harassing
    us. I either want a way to file a case review or I want the ban to be reduced to a time that makes it actually 24 hours, in which case I will be content not filing one. But giving me a 29 hour ban and saying it is "officially" only 2 hours is not fair. I have
    several other people who were with me at the time that can prove the ban started 5 hours early, and my online activity probably can as well, because we all ended up getting off soon after to go swimming since I couldn't talk or play.

    No they did not, I was transfered by an agent to the Enforcement Team but then the phone disconnected. So i decided to contact support via computer, and I was told to post here by a support agent.

    Sorry if you were told by an agent to post your issue here, unfortunately that is not correct. The only way the Xbox LIVE Enforcement Team sees any sort of complaints are by filing complaints on the Xbox 360 console.

    Clearly, because the actual enforcement forums are locked. So essentially I am unable to do anything at all is what you are saying? Because the Agent I spoke to told me to post here because he deemed my situation was unfair, ESPECIALLY because the enforcement
    forums are no longer used and the only way to get a case review is if it is "officially" more than 24 hours. But it seems that Microsoft has a "guilty until proven innocent" policy, but doesn't allow people to prove themselves innocent.

    Unfortunately support tends to send people here with incorrect information. All you can do is wait for the suspension to end. Even when the enforcement team did use the forums, they did not review 24 hours suspensions because it takes longer for them to
    look into the issue and respond. So by the time they would, the suspension would be over anyway.

    Unfortunately support tends to send people here with incorrect information. All you can do is wait for the suspension to end. Even when the enforcement team did use the forums, they did not review 24 hours suspensions because it takes longer for them to
    look into the issue and respond. So by the time they would, the suspension would be over anyway.
