xbox gold redeem code problem

Hello there, i have e little problem with my xbox gold reedem code for 1 month. i just buyed a new xbox, i creadted the profile but when i insert the reedem code i get the error 'please insert a valid reedem code', someting like that? can you please tell
me what should i do? is there some email address where can i send the reedem code to be checked by someone? thank you!

SAME PROBLEM! Just bought the other day, keep getting the same message on the xbox and the website. SO FRUSTRATING!

I'm having this error also but with a totally different game. So are others. I'm thinking this is a general xbox live error not specific to a single game. Any way we can make Microsoft aware of this error so they can get started on a fix?

Have tried this and still no dice unfortunately, I though it may have been an issue with having no payment option, but I added a Paypal account and still get the same error.

I had Xbox Support check the code, which she said was still active and able to be redeemed.

In the end she told me to contact EA.... Ah.... No....

I'm getting the same error as the OP, I don't believe the account I'm trying to add this to has any overdue balances, there's no indication of this at all.

Not sure what to try next, certainly frustrating.

I was experiencing this same exact error and found a way to succesfully redeem it. Here are the steps.

Got to account.xbox.com and make sure the Country in the bottom left corner matches the correct region.

After that use this URL: https://account.xbox.com/PaymentAndBilling/RedeemCode?doRedeem=0&token=#####-#####-#####-#####-##### where you replace the '#####-#####-#####-#####-#####' part with your code

This worked for me and I was able to redeem the code and the console is downloading it.

Yes thank you this worked. Both support teams Microsoft and EA have no clue this an issue. I had issues with Star Wars BattleFront Deluxe Content.
