    Xbox Live wrote:

    We know you experienced an issue signing in on your Xbox One on 3/11/2014. We apologize and will soon give you 7 days of Xbox Live Gold for your inconvenience.
    Message will expire in 16 days

    I haven't received any codes giving access to the 7 days. Also when i tried to reply to the message, it didn't work.

    Sorry you were in the hospital for so long.

    If you spoke with phone support I'm not sure why they sent you here. There is nothing anyone on the forums can do to help you out.

    Live service is not usually paused for any reason but continues on a linear basis. I have never heard of anyone ever having their service paused.

    However, on a good note you no longer need a Gold membership to access app features such as Netflix. It's all pretty much for online multiplayer and the Games with Gold program. If you're unfamiliar with Games With Gold you are given two free games per
    month with a Gold membership.

    Hey, I have been a loyal Xbox live and Microsoft consumer for years. On 9.23.13 I had to be hospitalized and got out of the hospital 6.23.14. My family tried to call to pause Live service but were met with apathy and bad service. No one would
    help or cared. We live check to check but want to continue using our Live service. We depended on it for our Netflix amongst other things. Is their anything you can do to get back our months that we lost.

    As far as I know those codes havent been sent out yet. Make sure you keep an eye on your subscription end date as they may just tack it on to the end of your current sub and not even give you a code
