    Three months ago I bought a membership which I had as a gift a code for another 3 months. but now that I try to exchange it, it appears to me that the token has expired.

    My question is, why does that message appear and what can I do? I already lost the code?

    Sorry to hear it. What you'll need to do here is contact the person or store that you bought the token from. Some codes did expire a few years ago but that policy changed. Perhaps you were sold one of those.

    Does it say the code has expired? If it was from a promotion, almost always they state things such as "Must be redeemed within x number of days (such as 45 days)". If that time frame elapsed that would by why.

    Some codes do have expiry dates (usually ones that are given as a gift or part of a promotion). That is why you get the message. If you get codes as part of a free gift or promotion, then it's best to redeem them within a few days of purchase, otherwise
    they will expire.
