I updated my xbox one today and now I can't hear game sound out my headset

I can say that even though the system is brand new, that doesn't mean the HD isn't faulty.

I understand the frustration you may be getting without your headset! Just so I can start getting an idea of your issue, have you tried using the http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/wired-headset-help?

I have and thats not the issue it had something to do with the update anyway to remove the update?

 

Unfortunately there is no way to revert back from the update once you've updated your Console. Just a quick question: Is the headset you're using the chat headset that comes with the console?

From what people are saying in the preview forums, it looks like the update team is aware of this issue with some headsets and are currently investigating it.
