    TODAY is the last day to register for the Xbox Series X|S Console Purchase Pilot


    The amount of learning that Xbox Insiders have provided to our team is incredible, and as such, we feel we are in a great position to understand what is working well and what could use some additional investment in the Xbox Series X|S Console Purchase Pilot. We've decided to close this pilot at the end of the month with a wealth of new knowledge, which means that today is the last day of open enrollment for the flight in the Xbox Insider Hub.

    What to expect:

    • Wave 2 Welcome and Console Preference messages were sent last week, 6/8-6/9
    • Wave 2 Selection messages are being sent this week, 6/15-6/16
    • Wave 3 Welcome and Console Preference messages are being sent later this week
    • Wave 3 Selection messages are being sent next week
    • End of June: All reserved consoles shipped, Pilot officially closes with our thanks to participants.

    Did you sign up for the Console Purchase Pilot through the Xbox Insider Hub like the article that you linked says to?

    "If you’re interested in potentially buying an Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, you’ll need to hop into the Xbox Insider Hub and sign up for the Console Purchase Pilot through there. Good news if you signed up last time and weren’t selected: Microsoft says that you’ve already opted into this round and won’t need to do anything for the chance to be selected again."

    Same for my Xbox X and S. Wouldn't register AMEM last night and this morning and then today the Rewards app just hangs.

    It looks like you've purchased the Series S|X edition, which is for new generation consoles (Series S and Series X) and wouldn't be compatible with your Xbox One S.

    The Xbox One S is a variant of the Xbox One console. Xbox Series X/S is the newer generation of consoles. Xbox Series X/S enhanced games are only for the newest consoles not the Xbox One S. You would need to purchase the Xbox One version of the games not the X/S version of them.
