I just lost countless hours of my life after purchasing FIFA 16 on black friday as a digital download. The game crashed everytime a cutscene was triggered. Xbox says the games works fine because it starts so a refund wasn't available and it was EAs problem
to fix. EA was in no hurry telling me to wait for an email. After every trouble shooting tip imaginable the last resort from a EA specialist on my case was to restore the Xbox to factory defaults. I did that and the game still crashes. So now,I was left with
a non working game I paid for and a Xbox that needed to have all of its games installed again. Finally I have enough and call Xbox AGAIN even though I'm told I'm not eligible for a refund and that it is EAs problem. So after explaining my situation for the
20th time and having to be more aggressive about it then I would like im giving a once a year refund. Like it is somehow my lucky day to get a refund for something that doesn't work. I'm glad I got the refund but now i can't FIFA anywhere for the same price
because that was a black friday deal. So my loyalty to Xbox cost the chance of owning FIFA right now for the discounted price. I have been with Xbox for over 7 years, I bought two 360s and am now on Xbox on Xbox one. I've spent thousands in discs and digital
download. My account has always been in good standing and after I spent way more time then I ever should have to try and fix this problem with little to no help from Xbox I am left without FIFA because I was only able to buy it when it was on sale during Black
Friday. So instead of owing FIFA I do not and I had to beg to get my money back. I've always enjoyed Xbox but after this experience I will be moving on. I would stop it today but I'm sure I wouldn't get my money back for gold. So if you are considering a digital
download I would advise against it because Xbox will do very little to help you if there is a problem. if they would've given me a refund on day one I wouldn't have waisted 6 days trying to fix my problem or missed out on getting FIFA at a discounted price.

Advanced Warfare download is ridiculous

Bought the new Xbox one advance warfare edition with the digital download of the game today and the game won't download. All the additions download but when I go to redeem code for the actual game it says error. Something went wrong.

What's happening here?? Do we not get the day zero edition because we bought the actual Xbox one that was 600$...

why anyone would pay for a digital download especially when its the same price as physical copy is baffling,

what happens when your bored with the game ? there is no re sale value?

i just dont get it

also after seeing all these complaints again i hope this kills the digital market,

the digital market is just a way for the big boys get all the money and none left over for us in the resale game,

 

Sorry you had the experience you describe but you shouldn't let it shake your loyalty to Xbox just because an EA game was crashing.

I have gone fully digital and never had an issue but I wouldn't let one bad experience with a game taint my experience of the whole system I was playing on at the time.
