If I were to post about looking for someone with something, would it be much different than looking for someone with certain in-game requirements for content? Instead of a straight out sale post. Just trying to get a better understanding is all.

If it's seen as advertising, that can also result in a suspension. Again, an LFG post should essentially be "I'm looking for x amount of people to play this game with"

You might be less likely to be reported, but there's no guarantee. But offering to buy/sell/trade anything is not permitted in LFG posts.

LFG posts are only for looking for other people to play a game with. They should essentially be "I'm looking for x amount of people to play this game with.". While yes, everyone uses them to buy/trade ingame items, it is actually against the rules to use LFG for that purpose.
