    so 3/4 months ago my previous "normal" xbox one resulted in an error trying to update with a new preview insider program update.

    Target OS: 10.0.17763.3043

    Source OS: 10.0.17134.4047

    first i did get some error codes: 0x8923000E 0x00000000 0x00000206

    after a few times trying to install the same error codes popt up so i tried to do an offline installation with the OSU1 files that resulted in the same error codes shown above.

    after this process i turned off my Xbox One "standard one" and tried to turn it on, and by that time i wasn't even able to turn it on and contacted xbox about it and they said it would probably be the power supply. i got a new power supply for this xbox
    one "standard one" and the same error codes as shown above resulted so that xbox till now is unusable and due to the fact its out of warranty i decided to get a new xbox.

    So now today 7th of November 2018, i have my new Xbox One X, installed everything needed, got in to the home screen, logged in with my account and everything went good.

    UNTIL: i re-opted back in to the preview insider program with this newly bought Xbox One X!

    The exact same thing happened on my new Xbox One X as already happened 3/4 months ago on my standard Xbox One, small change though, the new Xbox One X is still working and does not need another power supply or source.

    although i can not get to the home screen no more rather then sit there in the update screen while it does not want to update!

    very unfortunate and very disappointing!

    Contacted xbox support through chat and the tech person told me it's probably something with the preview insider program updates that makes my new Xbox One X console unusable.

    SO here i am now, my new Xbox One X where i payed a lot of money for directly not even after 2 hours of use, results in the same issue with some error codes:

    1st string of errors: 0x8923000E 0x00000000 0x00000206 (the same as on my standard Xbox One)

    after putting the Xbox in factory reset the next errors popt up:

    2nd string of errors 0x8B0500B6 0x00000000 0x00000200 (after factory reset and trying to install the preview insider program update)

    Target OS: 10.0.17763.3051

    Source OS: 10.0.17763.2023

    Also i tried to install the latest OS software with the OSU1 install files, however on the new Xbox One X? that did NOT work aswell!

    Now my new Xbox One X is also unusable, can not get in to the home screen. just the "something went wrong with the update screen" and probably due to the preview insider program update/software!!!!!!

    So please help me to overcome and fix this issue! so i can access my newly bought Xbox One X console!

    1. On your console, install the

      app (if you don’t already have it).
    2. Hold down the
      Xbox
      button on the controller.
    3. On the power menu, select
      Report a problem.

    *Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and
    if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.

  5. Sorry but as meantioned above i can not acces any home screen or guides as im stuck on a error screen where i can NOT use the insider app or send through an issue on the Xbox.

    BUT A miracle has happened.. AND I FIGURED IT OUT MYSELF! unfortunate but also Fortunate for me!!!

    i was so smart and VERY lucky to opt-out my standard Xbox One from the Preview Insider Program while setting up and on forehand opting-in my new Xbox One X console, because when the same issue resulted on my new Xbox One X i hooked up my standard Xbox One,
    and while it probably lasted 30/60 minutes to actually being opted-out i can access my standard Xbox One console without any problem.

    Now i opted-out my Xbox One X console through the insider app on the standard Xbox One console and YES when turning on the newly bought Xbox One X console i aswell had no problem accessing the menu "home" screen.

    So the problem lies in the Preview Insider program software/updates! don't know why but i can conclude it does!
