To see all apps and games, your device needs to be running Windows 10 Anniversary Edition

Recently I wanted to buy a game from the Microsoft store ("Sea of Thieves", to be precise). But when I visited the games store page the "purchase" button was greyed and it reads "To see all apps and games, your device needs to be running Windows 10 Anniversary
Edition ". However, update manager says that I am using the latest version. Later I found out that I can't use PayPal from Latvia, but that's another problem I guess. I also thought about region restrictions but couldn't be able to find anything on the forums.

Connect to Xbox One Minecraft Game

Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.

To check if a country or region is supported be sure to check the
Xbox Countries page.

It does appear that Latvia is not currently supported and thus you may not be able to purchase the game digitally or use features required for Xbox Live.

Turns out you need the Anniversary Edition of windows 10. Once you download and install it, the game shows up in your OneStore library.

So please, make sure you go to Microsoft website and download Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, if you haven't yet. It isn't automatically downloaded like I thought it would.

Update via PC

Update your controller on a Windows 10 PC by using the Xbox Accessories app:

Get the app from Microsoft Windows 10 by searching for "Xbox Accessories."
Launch the Xbox Accessories app.
Connect your Xbox One Wireless Controller by using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

Note You'll be prompted to update to Windows 10 Anniversary Edition if you haven't yet done so.
When the controller is connected, you'll see the message Update Required if an update is mandatory. Install the update.

Note You can also go to Device Info to check for an update.

The companion app is for consoles

You need to buy it on the xbox app on your windows 10

By using the Xbox console companion app you queued the Xbox game not the pc game

And fable 2 isn't available per say on Windows 10 but there is one offical way to play it on Windows 10

You need to update to the recent windows 10 anniversary update if it's available to you in your region

It's varies region by region as ita a phased release since the Xbox 20th anniversary not long ago

Once you have it you need to download the xbox play app which lets you play non windows supported xbox games like fable 2

And yes it is ms offical xbox app to play 360 games
