To repair the old Series X or buy new Series X?

Thanks for writing in. It may depend on your own preference.

But in my opinion, it might be worth fixing if the repair cost is significantly lower than buying a new Series X but if the repair is close to the price of a new console, it might be better to buy a new one.

For digital or with disc, you might want to consider if you own physical discs as it's beneficial to own a disc-based console so you can still play your games on discs.

It is worth of trade in old xbox one on the new series x because the series x are better than the xbox one.

Just to point out, I see some people making the mistake of referring to the new Xbox Series X. This question is specifically for the Xbox One X, not the new console. I have no intention of buying the new Xbox Series X.

I just bought a brand new Xbox One X, but when I go to the store, Flight Simulator and other Xbox Series X/S games say they are "not playable on this device" and I can't get Flight Simulator to install on my brand new Xbox One X because it says it's "not compatible". Very frustrating.

So you bought an Xbox One X and expected to be able to play an Xbox Series X game on it?

Why would a game made for an Xbox Series X work on an Xbox One X?

If you want to play Xbox Series X/S games I would take your brand new Xbox One X back to the store you bought it and see if they will take it back and you could try and buy an Xbox Series S (Series X consoles are very hard to find, but a Series S can be found fairly easilly)
