Sorry you're having so many outages with your Live service. When you see this is there always a service alert on it? I personally have very few problems with Xbox Live. It does go down occasionally, but not to the point that it significantly disturbs my
gaming experience. If there is a service bulletin every time you're having issues, then please see the feedback site below and submit feedback on your experience. If there are not bulletins each time you're having issues, then could it perhaps be a network

Thanks for coming to the forums. Sorry for the issue with the E100 error code. Sounds like there is a corrupt file somewhere on your console. We recommend to do a Soft Factory Reset. If it is within the OS this should fix it. When you do the reset select keep games and apps. You will need to add your profile back onto the console. However, if this does not fix the issue, please try an offline update to your console.

Reset your console: you can Reset your console from the Xbox Start-up Trouble-shooter.:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the mains lead to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the mains lead back in.
   
3. Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.
   
4. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.
   
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Start-up Trouble-shooter.
   

To reset your console from the Xbox Start-up Trouble-shooter, select Reset this Xbox. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

Update your system: You can update your console using the Xbox Start-up Trouble-shooter. To bring up the Xbox Start-up Trouble-shooter, follow the same previous steps then Plug the USB flash drive with the Offline System Update files into a USB port on your Xbox console. When the flash drive is inserted, the Offline System Update option on the Xbox Start-up Trouble-shooter becomes active. Use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Offline System Update to initiate the update using the files saved on your flash drive.

When the update is complete, the console will restart and you should be returned to the Home screen. If this happens, your console should function correctly now. You can remove the USB drive from your console.

Those kinds of faults typically pop up after you replace the hard drive (which is not allowed). As self-repair violates the terms of service, we cannot assist you with this issue.

As ngocphi pointed out, the issue between Xbox One Preview Program consoles and consoles not in the Preview Program was a known one. That update has now been publicly released. Have you already updated your Xbox One Console to the latest version? If not,
here's how to do that starting from your Xbox One dashboard:

• Press the Guide button on your controller
• Go to 'Settings'
• Select 'All Settings'
• Navigate to 'System'
• Select 'Console Info & Updates'
• If there is an update available, please apply it

With the release of the Xbox One Summer Dashboard, that issue should be resolved. Please be sure that both consoles have up to date Operating Systems and let us know if the issue persists. If you are still experiencing the issue, please let us know which
game is causing the issue and when the purchase was made so we can dig a little further.
