Hello everyone

As far as I'm concerned, here is how I determine how I buy a new console...

(1) What games can I play when I buy the next gen console now?

(2) What games are coming out soon?

If there are no games of interest available when I buy a next gen console and there are like 1 or 2 games coming out next year that have my attention; that next gen console is going to be skipped.

Hmm, an interesting topic.

I am going to keep my Xbox 360 because it has a lot of great games on it that I still play a lot. I wish I waited to purchase a next gen system as I have bought a PS4 and only have Battlefield 4 for it.

The Xbox 360 is awesome

It usually takes about 1 year for a lot of great games to be released after a new console debuts, hence the reason I still don't have an Xbox One yet (no games to play).

I have xbox one and used too have a 360 .got too the point where i only played xbox one . And any new games coming out i would get on xbox one . Why get a game like dragon age or destiny for 360 when u can get it for the one . For this reason i sold my 360
. Of course this is just my view . Many still very happy with 360 ..as with anything it personal choice .

I understand what you mean in regards to opting for the superior versions of new games in the Xbox One

Personally, there would have to be a bunch of games that interest me to warrant the purchase of a next gen console. Like I've said before, the only game that has my attention right now is Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.

I agree that its going to be epic

But, I do hope that the character creation is similar to Dragon Age Origins (where you could pick a Human, Elf, or Dwarf) as opposed to Dragon Age 2 (Human only).

The reason that "Drargon Age 2" only lets the players pick Human as a race was because of the story. I stopped playing "Dragon Age 2" quickly because I couldn't play as an Elf (I play Human too, but I prefer Elves more).

I do the same, I look at the games that come out with our around the same time as the new console and what will be coming out and if none of them really interest me, than the new console will wait, plus I like to give out some time to work out the "bugs“.

The two games that interest me right now are Destiny and Dragon Age: Inquisition, and Destiny is coming to the 360.

So for me the xBox one will wait a little longer

 

I still have my Xbox 360 and don't have any plans with selling the old girl either. I also have an original Xbox along with my Xbox One. All three generations plugged into the same TV ready to be played.

My Original Xbox is also set-up too, but it is hooked up to a 20 inch SDTV because I am using composite cables for it & it looks really ugly on my 40 inch HDTV due to all of the "jaggies" (which can't be seen on the 20 inch SDTV).

My Xbox 360 is hooked up via a HDMI on my 40 inch HDTV

Resolution can be blurry and jaggy on the High Def televisions but it doesn't really bother me. I am short sighted so I am used to blurry

 

I had to keep mine. I have over 200 games, all digital, spread out over 3 hard drives. There is just way too much $$ invested to give away. Thats basically what would happen, given the fact that all of the content is digital. I still play 360 way more and
I am soooooo looking forward to Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition on 360. I have a day one edition XB1 but there isnt anything out yet, or coming anytime soon, that will dethrone my 360 as the console of preference
