To get Xbox One with Kinect or Not?

Just a curious question, I have noticed lately on a few sites, amazon for example that the Kinectless bundle has come down to £329.99, and was just curious as what to do, get my Xbox One with Kinect or not??

Controlling your TV with the Xbox One X

The Xbox One X has an IR-emitter built into the front of the console (near the disc eject button), or it can use the Kinect. If either device is being obstructed by any objects, or not in a position where the IR light might not reach

separate IR-emitter with your original Xbox One, you can try using that with the Xbox One X. If you used a Kinect to control your TV, you will need to get a

Get it with the Kinect because if you decide you want it down the road when they start offering it separately it will end up being more expensive to buy it separately.

 

I dont use mine much but I know other people that cant live without it so it down to personal chioce mine aint been plugged in for a month

 

Think about it objectively, how do you feel about voice commands and motion control? I personally wouldn't buy a Xbox One without the Kinect, the IR blaster works perfectly for turning my TV/receiver on and off and works great for controlling my cable box,
there aren't many games with Kinect support, but Dead Rising 3 has a cool feature where you shake the controller to knock zombie off that grab you and Battlefield 4 I heard has some good functionality, hope to see more of that in the future.

 

If you like the idea of voice commands then deinitely, if not.

Save the money.

 

XB1 with Kinect = the complete XB1 experience. Some may not use it as much, but there are tons of uses for it. The voice commands and gestures work very well IMO. Also, I use my a lot for Xbox Fitness, and the auto sign in is nice as well.

 

The thing is I never used the Kinect for Xbox 360, so does that mean that Kinect 2.0 is better?

It really depends on whether or not you think you will use the Kinect 2.0 because I used the $100 (by buying the Kinectless Xbox One bundle instead of the Kinect Xbox One bundle) and picked up Forza Motorsport 5 / an extra controller

I agree with what someone said earlier, the XB1 + Kinect = the complete Xbox experience. I don't use mine a lot other than voice commands and the occasional gesture but it's still worth it IMO.

 

Get it with the Kinect sensor.

 

Honestly, the only thing I use the Kinect for is "XBOX On", XBOX Turn Off", and XBOX Record That". I don't think I use it for anything else. With that being said I really do like those commands and I don't know if I would like my XBOX One without the Kinect.
Like everyone has already stated to get the entire XBOX One experience you really need the Kinect.

 

I have an XBOX ONE with Kinect and I dont really see any reason to have it. The voice commands are "pretty good" in that once you figure the system out, they work 85-90% of the time. However, while this is good, its easy to argue that its not good enough
(since my controller input works 99%). The one Kinect game is "ok" if your into motion controller games. However, I assume you wouldnt be asking this question if your in to motion controller games. As someone who also owned the old Kinect, I wouldnt worry
much about missing this thing in the future, Im almost certain you wont.

 

Just say no to kinect and buy some more games
