    TO ENFORCEMENT


    My child was playing call of duty mw3 multiplayer and went into a lobby that had a Mod so he exited out. Well xbox live went ahead and banned his account. Can someone please help us as he did what he was supposed to do and not play with people who cheat?

    One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

    Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

    If he used the cheat, even just a little, there is a problem. Especially if there was a xbox enforcement member in the game as well who witnessed it. There are also some, "infections", for lack of a better word, that can carry into other games. The enforcement
    team investigates these kind of things to the extreme before issuing a ban. They are 100% certain. It could be possible that your son did not exit as quickly as he told you, but in some way he must have used the mods that were set up in that game.

    He was invited to this lobby and knowingly joined. So the ban is fair and he knows why it happened.

    Please create your own thread instead of bumping an older one. If your account has been compromised you would need to contact support and have them start an unauthorized access investigation. If you've just been threatened to be hacked, then you need to
    file a complaint on that person via the console and block communications with them.

    You can file to have your case reviewed by the enforcement team. That way they can hear your side of the story. If you are interested in doing this Here is how to do it.

    You will need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com sign in and click the orange hammer in the top left of the site.This will take you to your enforcement history page. Find the current enforcement effecting your
    account. Next to it on the right you should see a link that say submit a case review. Click on that and follow the prompts.
