  2. Vibration not working with the Xbox One Wireless S controller in Forza Horizon 3.

The vibration is not working with the Xbox One Wireless S controller in Forza Horizon 3.

Have the latest drivers, new batteries, Anniversery update, updated controlles etc., but no vibration unless I connect it with a usb cable.

Controller disconnects when used to power on xbox console

...Please Note: If the batteries are inside the controller while it's connected with a USb cable , the problem still persists! ... I'm still unable to maintain a connection wirelessly when I boot the system using the controller. I have already tried 2 different
set of Duracell batteries both chargable and non-chargable.

What could be the real issue here?

That's weird, that the controller loses contact when you have the batteries inside, while the console is connected to the controller via USB.

Have you checked if there is a Firmware update available for the controller?
Actually the problem is not there when controller is connected via USB cable with or without batteries in the controller. Wireless seems to be the issue.

Xbox Series X Sync button/synced controller stopped. Sync button must work as I am able to get to BIOS. Sync button wont blink.

If you can use your controller while connected through USB, that means that the wireless connection between your controller and your Xbox is working. Even when connected through USB, the communication between both devices is done wirelessly, with the controller only using power from the USB cable, not data. The controller is paired to your console when connected through USB, so the issue lies on your controller.

Check if the batteries inside of your controller are installed with the correct polarity. If they are, try to replace them with Alkaline batteries and check again.

Xbox One Controller Problem - Help Needed Please

You should use the following troubleshooting steps to check if the radio in the controller is faulty, or if it's an issue with the batteries in the controller.

So you already say that the controller works, when you connect it directly to the console via USB. Check in the Xbox Accessories app on the console, that the controller has the most up to date firmware.

As Flymonkey102 already said, the controller will turn off it's radio and use the USB cable to send control input to the console instead of the wireless connection.

If the controller is up to date, connect your controller to an USB charger or power bank (take out the batteries first). This will force the controller to use it's wireless radio to send controller input, but lets you power the controller reliably via USB.

If the controller does NOT work when connected to the USB charger, then the controller's radio is defective and you need to send it in for repair via
https://devicesupport.microsoft.com (you need to register your console first if not already done so, then choose that you have an issue with an accessory with that console. Then you can choose the controller).

If the controller is working properly with the USB charger, make sure that your batteries are freshly charged or new. Also keep in mind, that older rechargeable batteries can't get to their full power anymore, even if they were just charged. And since rechargeable
batteries only provide 1.2V instead of 1.5V, it might be that the older rechargeable batteries aren't providing enough power.

Thank you for telling me to use the Xbox accesories app, i managed to figure out what the real problem of the controller was. Basically when the controller was plugged in to a charger from the top and I checked the app, in the app it said that the controller
was on critical battery and that’s when there was no batteries in and when I put batteries in it still said critical battery so I think there’s a problem with the controller, maybe it got damaged somehow from the inside and now the batteries don’t work in
it anymore. What do you suggest I do now?
