    Soooooo.....

    I blocked former friend of mine, and for some reason it keeps making his GT appear for online (the Gamer online notification) I retried with unblock and reblock, but still no go. Kinda annoying. Any ideas????

    Block feature does not work

    Block: to make unsuitable for passage or progress by obstruction.

    After hearing guesses and speculation from the support team, I guess the real question is

    does xbox live have a block feature?

    Hey there, RocketSockz! I'm sorry to see any issues with blocking your friend! In order to not name your (ex)friend here on the forums, please send me a private message with the GT you are attempting to block and the exact date and time you last attempted
    to block them. Once I have that, we can continue from there.

    No, they won't - according to the article linked below, when you block someone on your friends list, not only will it block communication from them, but it will also remove any friend attachment between you. :) Hope this helps!

    Actually the block is off once you send a message to the blocked account. I suggest you to check if you have send any message after you blocked the account in question.

    No idea where to post this but

    File a complaint on the user and block communications on the user by going to his or her profile and selecting File Complaint and to block communications with user select the message sent and choose block communications. The user in question will be reviewed
    by the policy enforcement team.
