To ban this person from Xbox360

This Game tag [Mod removed] send my son a dirty message in his inbox on Xbox 360. It say a lot of bad thing that i would not like to say on here but i did not delete it so you can check the message out. My son is very upset i would like to say thank you

can people other than the xbl team ban me??

Only the Xbox Policy Enforcement Team can ban people from Xbox Live. If someone is threatening to ban or hack you, you should report this person immediately. Likewise if the person is spamming, harassing, or otherwise effecting your enjoyment of Xbox Live.

i believe this person has hacked the xbox in some way. i was playing Call of Duty ghosts and his name was glitchy and barely appeared. when he killed or got killed all that showed up was a rectangular box and a couple dots. it seemed like he took little
damage when shot in hardcore lobbies.

I do sympathize about you on this situation, some people can be very unpleasant in the communication.

I will have to point out that naming and shaming someone is not allowed, neither am I sticking up for the one you mentioned, it is just forum rules.

It really only leaves a few options

1. File a complaint through the console, all complaints are reviewed and all evidence will be checked for the appropriate actions they take.

2. Block.communication with the person. This will prevent him messaging your son, it will also prevent any party chat, private chat or game invites for this person

3. Change your sons Online Privacy settings on.communication voice and text to Friends Only, only friends on his friend list will be able to send messages or invites.

I hope you get this sorted, it is a shame when people within the xbox community make it an unpleasant place for others.

People from the community do not ban you, people from the community can report you. A person from Xbox enforcement actually bans you.

Is it normal for a banned account to be listing " perfect record"? If the OP was banned whilst on the Xbox360 system (assuming they were on a 360), could that be why? Just curious

I'd say go for either an xbox360 Slim Or Elite. And i recommend you buy a new one as there's a chance the person that used it before you has been console banned meaning what ever profile you use it won't work. The elite does has have some better things over
the slim like a better cooling system but to be honest i don't think it's worth the extra money. And make sure that the xbox360 you do get has the hard drive aswell.
