Tivo DVR controls

I've replaced the Hauppauge tuner with a $49.99 Tivo Roamio OTA. you don't need a tivo subscription as the xbox one controls the tivo. there is a slight delay when changing channels, but it works great, I get all of the guide info with the one guide, hopefully

I don't even think it's a voice controlled tivo, it's a pass through. From what I understand you still need a cable and dvr box.

Storage can be added via USB 3.0, though I do not expect DVR functionality. I expect a TiVo will be easier to control via its own remote as TiVos do not support HDMI-CEC. That is what made channel switching possible during the reveal event.

Just for anyone still trying to get full DVR control on VM TiVO.... I got it working by manually changing the code from c1060 to c3265 as Nevstar suggested

I'd like to know too. At a minimum, you should be able to control live TV and use the DVR remote while the X1 is in live TV mode to control the DVR recordings piece. I am also hoping for some sort of TiVo support. I am guessing that a lot in this area
may come with later updates.
