TIVO control option has gone and no longer controls TV channels

Discus and support TIVO control option has gone and no longer controls TV channels in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; This was working fine one moment, then totally gone the next.     TIVO control option has gone and no longer controls TV channels


    This was working fine one moment, then totally gone the next. I no longer have any option to add my Virgin TIVO box to change channel with kinect. The only option I have is stupid app channels that I have no use for.

    You tout a feature to sell your console, delay the feature in the UK, then eventually implement it, before removing it again?!?.

    One more annoying gripe with this thing and it's being traded in for your competion. TIVO control option has gone and no longer controls TV channels :(

    Universal Remote for XB1, Samsung TV, Virgin Media (TiVO) Bose Solo Soundbar & Apple TV??

    I guess you have your tivo plugged into your xbox and the apple tv is plugged into your tv. I guess one remote for that is not so bad TIVO control option has gone and no longer controls TV channels :)

    I have turned the option off to turn my tv and hdmi controller off when the xbox is turned off, but when i turn it on, it turns my HDMI, tivo and tv on TIVO control option has gone and no longer controls TV channels :) volume and channel controls all work fine with voice and smartglass. My Mrs can even browse tv channels
    and whats on now/next without disturbing my tv viewing.

    Randver is not completely correct as the xbox does control your tv/sound center etc through the IR blaster which does not require control through devices plugged directly into the xbox, but he is correct that you cant control them unless it's setup with
    the one.

    Setting up Samsung Tivo device control

    I can't get my Xbox one to control my cable tv. I have a Samsung Tivo box SMT7100. Samsung Tivo is in the setup but not SMT7100 as an option. I can't use voice commands to change channels or control the virgin box in any way. I've tested the kinnect
    and it is definitely IR blasting, I've checked with my phone camera. I thought the IR receiver might be blocked but the remote works and I've tried putting the kinnect directly in front of the virgin box.

    Any ideas what else I can try?

    Hey gibby, you can change channels and you'll actually be able to pause/rewind/ff content as well. While in Live TV, hit the 'A' button to bring up transport controls.

    We've tested on several TiVos and they work well :)

    I've replaced the Hauppauge tuner with a $49.99 Tivo Roamio OTA. you don't need a tivo subscription as the xbox one controls the tivo. there is a slight delay when changing channels, but it works great, I get all of the guide info with the one guide, hopefully

    plugging my xbox upto my TiVo box

    I tried it day one, but was missing the controls etc, simply swapped the HDMI that went to the TV into the back of the Xbox, you can still watch the tivo through it, using the tivo virgin remote. But no voice control etc. Hopefully this new update they announced
    will fix all of this :)

    @N7 has your free boost kicked in yet? Virgin just upped mine to 100Mb for free

    TIVO service used thru XBOX ONE freezes

    I have the same exact issue with my Tivo. It's been mistreating ever since I set this up a week ago. Here is my setup as well:

    1. Panasonic 65inch plasma TV also running 480i to 1080i and sometimes 1080p

    2. All HDMI

    3. Same as above, Tivo goes thru the Xbox One, Tivo is hooked up to Xbox One and the Xbox controls the system. I also have a stereo for audio out no HDMI connect to that at all.

    4. Tivo HD with THX. Mine is the model before Romio I believe. I only have 2 tuners and it has a Cable card in it.

    I am also getting freezing randomly whenever changing channels or switching around using the TIVO menu. Recorded and Live both and sometimes if I turn the TV off and forget to have the xbox turn off everything.

    Help!!!
