Titanfall Xbox ONE frame rate and screen tearing after update 5

So just wanted to know what everyone's impressions are of the update 5 for Titanfall?

The patch notes say they have improved bandwidth, and on the live stream of the new DLC the developers said they have improved the frame rate and tearing for the X1 version. So i just wanted to know if other people like me who were experiencing massive
amounts of screen tearing have seen a improvement since the last 2 patches? i for one have seen a improvement with regards to tearing since update 4 and now after update 5 i will be smashing some titanfall to see if indeed it has been further improved.

So far the few games i have had since the update 5 (before my kids and wife got home from my mother in laws) anyway since the update 5 the few matches i have played ran VERY SMOOTH and i didn't see it tear even once, could it possibly be that it has finally
been fixed? i doubt it but i am optimistic.

The new maps look awesome and i love that they are pretty cheap!! anyway i will update the thread once the kids hit the sack and i jumpp on tonight and hammer the game! peace out!

ps please no bull about how the game has no tearing, i dont want deluded people clogging up the thread i want people like me who have had tearing problems with titanfall on x1 to update about how the experience has been since the last 2 updates! THANKS

Screen Tearing and Frame Rate Issues

Do you guys have screen tearing and frame rate issues when navigating on the map menu? in Marakarth and some other places 2...

And the frame rate isn't smooth..

I noticed a fair bit of screen tearing in the PC beta, even with v-sync enabled. Frame rate was rock solid though.

I'll be getting titanfall tonight hopefully,and I'm very interested if they improved the frame rate tearing so any info on this would be great.

 

Framerate seems more stable, but sometimes the screen still tears pretty bad as far as I can tell.

 

ye same for me, strange thing is frame rate seems allot more stable and tearing is gone for me for the most part, but strangely some times i am not sure why but the tearing just goes crazy some games and on others its near non existent! i wonder what it
is? i have defo seen a massive improvement since last patch(5) and the game is more stable without a doubt.

But like i said some games its very bad and some its near perfect with a 2 or 3 minor tears.

I have to commend respawn for still working on this but then again they should have never released this game in this state.

Oh well i just hope they keep the updates coming and hopefully one day have it running at a locked 60fps with full vsync and no tearing.

 

I only experienced very limited screen tearing prior to update 5(I know you call it bull, but its reality for many of us. I think it might have something to do with your location in relation to the server. As I live in the city that hosts my server, Its
possible that I would experience less) It was there, but rather unnoticeable unless you really had things going fast)

That said, since update 5 I have had far more tearing than I would like. This going along with the extra lag and unusual glitches (I've literally jumped through my evac ship on more than a few occasions since update 5)

 

I have to say I am quite unimpressed with the latest patch. Although I liked the concepts behind the black market, the tearing is intolerable. As in cannot play the damn game. So that really tears for me (no pun intended)

Pull the plug, cold boot, and fix the error.
