I will never touch a MMO with a subscription model. Especially on a console.

 

This is good news. Was just talking to a friend about this, hoping they wouldn't have microtransactions.

 

I think this is actually really good news. The developers are definitely staying with their roots in terms of making a CoD4 mix of community, excitement and gameplay over finances. The game may not be released yet but they're definitely showing that making
a great game means more to them than cashing in on every little skin they can take us for.

People are happy there's no micro transactions because in EA games it normally is a fast track to better stuff. With this being a multiplayer focused game it's easy to see why this is actually important.

There's nothing wrong with season passes, as long as the standard game is not lacking in content. It's just a way to pre-order DLC at a discounted price. No one forces it to be purchased.

[/quote]Exactly. For instance I put a lot of time and effort into bf3 ranking up to unlock weapons. Then came along the pay packages and people could pay to unlock everything. Not exactly fair in my opinion. Ruined it for me. Pretty much stopped playing
because of it.

I then again don't mind microtransactions that unlocks stuff available through normal play. It crosses the limit when you can buy stronger stuff that you can't get without paying. Not everyone has time to put much time into these shooters, but still want
to enjoy the cool unlocks. I'm all for "pay2skipgrind", but not "pay2win" That said, the skipping grind part sorta is more justified when the game is F2P to begin with, but I do agree it's a bit so and so when the game already costs alot.

 

I am all for micro transactions. IMO the developers and EA are missing a great opportunity but as all things gaming things and decisions WILL change.

I am happy with this I kinda don't want a season pass after al I'm paying out 250 last thing I want is more paid for dlc

I hope more Devs do the same and get rid of MT in games that don't need it.
