Titanfall won't have micro-transactions says developer

In a way season passes can be a good thing. I've noticed that sometimes a game can go into a lull when people get bored but if they've paid for the season pass it usually brings them back when the new maps are released and all of a sudden the servers are
full again. Also it does keep a bit of income coming in for the developer. Not that I like it. But I remember the days before downloads where you had to wait for a full blown add on pack to be released and go buy it at the retail store. So it's good and it's
bad.

 

DLC is a good thing, however it shouldn't then make a two tier playing experience, making people with money more powerfull or better equipment.

Also being greedy publishers is another issue, COD BO2 has a season pass and then had separate micro payments for camos's that really annoyed me, and I am not buying the season partly pass because of it. (thinking about it COD ghost has the same issue with
the season pass and wolf upgrade)

 

Micro transactions or season pass doesn't bother me....

It's my choice to pay or not......

Some gaming companies made the mistake with "pay to win micro transactions" but it seems they start to understand this not what we want.....

But whatever......Respawn "take my money".....Can't wait.

 

Not buying it. (pun time is fun time).

DLC and avatar goods are micro-transactions, and I don't see the developer offering these for free to gamers.

Not that I'm opposed to them, but I don't like double-speak.

It destroys the definition of "micro-transaction", which is a payment for something outside of the core unit, even if it's in-game guns, avatar gear, and/or DLC.

 

Thank God.... I hate microtransactions....

Season Pass are a terrible thing.

 

i'm fine with DLC and micro-transactions, DLC keeps the replay value up, however i'm only OK with micro-transactions as long as it is not a pay-to-win structure, i will not play a game that gives the advantage to someone that just pays more, which is why
i won't touch most free-to-play games.

You can get a refund provided you haven't received the product you ordered yet. It is actually your right as a consumer. No amount of terms and conditions can take away your rights as a consumer.

The same principle also applies to pre-ordering games.

You have a choice. You are not forced to buy a Season Pass. You can choose to buy each DLC as and when it is released, but spend more

Not unless. I have had a refund on unwanted pre-ordered content before through various digital retailers, including Microsoft.

If someone wants something, and they know they are going to buy it day one regardless, there is no real reason not to if you can get it at a healthily discounted price or with bonus content.

It's not an issue when it's a choice. That is the exact point. It's only an issue when it is forced upon you.

 

I hate this game already because I know just how much time of my life is going to get wasted dumping HOURS into this game. I better enjoy all the real life I can until March because after that it's all over for me.

 

Just wait until The Elder Scrolls Online comes out. Titanfall? What's that?

 

I'm not touching Elder Scrolls, I won a copy of Oblivion on the 360 and lost a year of my life. I think stuff happened that year but I noticed new cars on the street and people had different clothes on.

Titanfall? Oh yeah... that's the game that doesn't cost $15.00 a month to play! lol j/k
