Titanfall update failure

So this morning i checked out Titanfall FB page (YET AGAIN) and as normal someone suggested clearing the cache yet again BUT in a different way than i had been previously doing it. Turn on console, clear cache and click ok then do not click back, turn off
by holding center button and selecting turn off console. Then turn it back on, start titanfall, reject the first update attempt (B), press start, login and update. Worked for all 3 of my consoles. Perhaps they fixed it serverside overnight?

 

If you are having the update issue on Xbox one try:

Uninstalling the game

Clearing the Persistent Storage. Settings> Disc & Blu-Ray > Persistent Storage

Then reinstall game and try update again.

This worked for me when I called MS support

I can confirm what ValeCladdath posted worked for me.

I couldn't even launch the game and logout.

The update was mandatory and I could not bypass the update failure screen.

I "revived it because the damn problem happened to me on Tuesday the 17th.

Making it current and therefore relevant.

 

there was no update on Tuesday the 17th unless you haven't played since the previous update
