Well, it claims to have made improvements to matchmaking again. Time for the monthly log-in, to see if it's really any better. I sure hope it is.

 

Personally, I love how Respawn is handling the frequent updates for Titanfall. They always fix numerous things and offer new and different ways to play. In a way, it kind of reminds me of how MS is handling updates for the console. This, IMO, is how developers
should handle updates. Do you guys agree? Also, those of you who've already posted haven't really said what you like about this update yet - I'd like to know.

 

I'd still like to know what you think, guys...

Another great update!

The only aspect of the matchmaking I want to see fixed is when "connecting" and "loading" count as a player. I've been in LTS lobbies where there's 4 players on the opposing team, 4 players + "connecting" on my team, then when the countdown hits 10 seconds
it splits is up into 3 players + "connecting" Vs. 5 players because it considers that 4 Vs. 5, when in reality it's 3 Vs. 5 as that "connecting" slot never actually fills up with a real person.

In fact, I've played LTS matches where "connecting" or "loading" takes up a slot on my team through the entire match, preventing another real player from joining so we're outnumbered in every round.

If they've fixed that I'll be happy. The rest is just icing on the cake.

 

I'm wondering if you'd still have access to your anti-Titan weapon in this mode or if it'd simply be unselectable? Personally, I think I would prefer the latter.

 

I'm excited for the new gamemode but I know the Devs were getting some flak on twitter about it. Personally I'm just happy that they're trying new things and mixing it up for the players. I hope the make the maps a little smaller for that mode lol

I already love the game but this really keep me playing for awhile ..Keep these updates and improvements coming !!

 

I did an interview about the their updates and there are still a "few" free updates along with the last DLC pack but they also hinted at some point having to focus on their "next project". I really hope they don't back-track on their initial claim to support
this game long into the future. I love it more than COD just because of the feeling of something fresh in shooter world that doesn't follow all the other cookie cutter elements and hope they give this game atleast a 2 year cycle in between iterations.

It will be nice playing on the same level battlefield with only pilots although another article said it would around 16 players plus maybe a few more perks so that is definitely welcoming news.

I still mostly just play campaign mode though, lol.

 

If you're only playing campaign mode, then you're literally missing out on half of the game! Campaign doesn't have all of the maps and only of 2 of the 6 or so gametypes. Don't limit yourself, especially since it's all multiplayer anyways.

The new ultra rare burn card that allows you to choose 1 burn card from your entire library of burn cards sounds really cool - I'd love to try that one.
