Titanfall stuck in attempting connection

Hey all,

So recently titanfall has been stuck at the attempting connection screen for me, it cycles through the ten connections over and over and over again. I've tried everything to get it to work, including port forwarding, setting my NAT type to open, clearing
various caches, setting the primary and secondary DNS (I have a new belkin router), reinstalling the game, unplugging the xbox etc. Any advice?

Also, can someone tell me how to upload a picture to this post? I would like to post a screen shot of the port forwarding page so I can make sure I have that correct.

Titanfall fix for connection problems

I was having connection problem with titanfall as many are were you can not connect to the titanfall severs but I found if you hook your xbox directly to your modem then the connection problems go away.

1) unplug ethernet cable from router

2) plug ethernet cable into modem (or plug modem into xbox 360)

3) run game and see if that fixed it.

My game was stuck on the attempting connection screen so if yours does the same then try this

No servers found????

Trying to connect to Titanfall, keep getting "Attempting connection",

but never connects.

Is this happening to anyone use?

Last night I tried plugging the xbox right into the wall with an ethernet cord and it worked perfectly fine, so its most definitely the router

While looking around for a propable solution to the issue you are experiencing, I found out that the servers of Titanfall have problems. This is what i found out from other gamers with the same issue:

"If you find yourself stuck on Titanfall’s ‘Initializing’ screen then you may as well cancel the attempt and retry another connection.

The reason for this is because – when stuck on the ‘Initializing’ screen – no data is actually being sent from Titanfall to the servers, meaning you’d actually be left on the screen indefinitely.

The only solution is to cancel and repeat, hoping that you can manage to connect. This solution to Titanfall’s ‘Initializing’ problem even comes endorsed by the publishers.

Some gamers have also suggested repeatedly attempting to connect to Titanfall’s servers. By repeatedly requesting a connection you may manage to finally connect with the server, bypassing the ‘Initializing’ step entirely and getting you into the game.

We’ve had limited success with this, but it’s certainly an option to try – letting off some frustration if nothing else.

As for the ‘Attempting Connection’ Titanfall problem, what you need to do is change the data centres that you’re attempting to connect to.

While normally you would want to connect to data centres closest to you, switching the server you’re connecting to will refresh the connection and help making that first connection go through.

If Titanfall continually cycles through ‘Attempting Connection’, then cancel, switch data centres and try again. It won’t always work, but should help you get into a game sooner"

Thanks for your response! but I'm still having issues connecting, my 2 day pass came with Titanfall and I attempted to play Titanfall and I couldn't connect. Will I have better luck if I activate my 14 day pass that came with my console? I tried playing
online with my 360 and everything worked fine.
