Titanfall should be worth half of what it costs.

Some of the burn cards feel unbalanced or need to be balanced. For instance I think map hack should only be compatible with levels 1-15, also whenever you prestige you should lose all your burn cards to make the game more competitive. I think burn cards
like this were made to give less capable players a fighting chance, but in the hands of a seasoned player that person can become unstoppable if he/she knows where you are at all times.

 

"COD is just re-churned war games that never innovate or change". Well, I like CoD for what it is and if it changed, then it wouldnt be CoD, eh? "Innovation is why Titanfall is so great." Like a FPS OR a mech game hasnt been done before? Fanboy much? I like
CoD and I enjoyed the Titanfall beta. We all know TF is going to be alot like CoD in "good" ways and "bad" ways. Example-"good"-The game plays fast and smooth and has great controls, hit detection, maps are set up for action, along with spawns, "Bad"-TF will
become a annually made game (put out each year), TF will begin to get tons of customizations, TF will get all the "extras" like CoD has now, ie, killstreaks, equiptment, etc. The community will exploit anything they can, ie, spawn killing, etc (I think most
are just playing the game for now, but give it some time). Basically, in 3 years, when you have 400 days played of TF, youl be stroking the newest game out (whatever that is) and youll be bashing TF.

 

I think the "worth" or value of this game is what you make of it. I think it's awesome and am glad to have paid $60 for it. And to the Day One adopters cry me a river.

 

Uneasy, you sound like the 10 year old who wants to sit in his favorite sniper spot for 200 games and tell people ur great at it cause you prestiged 20 times. It's drones like u that force companies to regurgitate the same product with a facelift every single
year. Unfortunately the sheep are being appeased and we all get cookie cutter games because cod fanboys think"it wouldn't b cod if they changed it". What limited thinking that forces game developers to make 15 sequels to one game. Quit crying and play last
years cod if u want the same game again....or go back and play all of the other versions released over the last few years. Innovation is dead because of childlike fans!

 

That's a good point about a game's worth. The value comes into play when you count how many times you pop the disc in. If I paid £1 for every time I put in Gears of War, it would have cost me a few Hundred. And I would be willing to pay that up front had
I known how much fun it would give me.

 

I rarely buy games at full price.. simply because you can wait, sometimes just a couple of weeks, and get it on sale. However, I was day 1 with this game because even at $60, I'll play it enough over the next year to justify the full price.

Its a no brainer if you ask me and worth of full price even though it does feel a bit light in content at the moment.

The only one I see crying here is you. Crying about how people choose to play the game they paid for. Crying about other peoples preferences for the games they like.

Not everyone thinks like you or wants what you want. If you want to change that - you might choose to use a little more elegance in crafting your written arguments. Calling people "children" or "childish" doesn't seem like the most effective way to make
your point.

And regarding innovation - isn't Titanfall innovation? Didn't this game come from the same people that created COD and have now innovated and created a new experience for their fanbase? It seems to me like games are innovating just fine - even in spite of
the COD fans that expect to see the annual releases of the next game in the COD franchise.

 

No, I think the problem is the vast amount of trolls who come to a site to trash a game others like is twisted. This is a Titanfall site where xbox owners can share information about a game they like, but instead, these trolls constantly heckle and harass
other users and the majority of these have been the "cod fanboys" . So, Mr. Crunchy, if you were nearly as meticulously informed as you purport to be, then you already looked up the related blogs where these miscreants have been harassing me and are not facilitating
a one sided argument. I hope this response was a little closer in stature to your educational level of accomplishment.

^^You are a bit misinformed. I never said I was good at any game. I did say I enjoy CoD. I like tic tac toe also, but you cant really change that game up alot or well, it isnt tic tac toe anymore, amiriot? I like CoD for what it is. If you think me liking
CoD has anything to do with how the game is developed, well then, you are a bit misinformed, eh? CoD is here to stay, and guess what, probably 90% of Titanfall players are CoD kiddies/fanbois/quickscopers, so with them/us, you probably wouldnt have a game
thats as popular as it is. BTW, its the SAME crowd in BFs too. AND on topic (which you werent) I have said and will say again, that todays games have great replayability, way different from quarter at a time arcades of the yesteryear.
