I've played this game heavily since it was in alpha stage and I must say after putting in 17+ hours of multiplayer in the final product, doing everything from beating both campaigns and playing classic multiplayer, I can honestly say this game was not worth
the 64$ I paid for it. Sure the game plays great but its a lacking a ton of content to be a full priced game. For example just the basic things like split screen, private lobbies, and there is limited customization.

    :)

The Kinect is not worth the price especially when it's cost is around half the console's. The Xbox One is great when they removed those stupid draconian policies but it should be better with the Kinect being optional not mandatory but it doesn't look that
promising knowing that they promoting the heck out of Kinect and not the clouding I'm interested about.

Private lobbies are coming for free as DLC.

I would pay $100 for a MP game like this. I get 250-500+ hours of game play out of multiplayers like COD, titanfall and the like. I spent $46 bucks on a small pizza, 15 wings, a slice of cake and 2 cans of pop last night. 25 minutes of enjoyment for $46
or 250 hours of enjoyment for $60....which is the better investment?

Game budgets are getting too big. It is too difficult for companies to profit on games with superb single player campaigns and a silky smooth multiplayer experience. I would rather companies focus on their games main objective. Certain games offer a great
single player experience, while other games are multiplayer driven. For smaller dev teams with limited budgets some games are better off with out adding a multiplayer, while others are better off with out adding a campaign IMO. Those $100,000,000 block buster
games that can offer both should be looked at as the exception, not the standard.

  6. Call of Duty has more content on disc than Titanfall though. A full campaign, a variety of multiplayer modes, co-op mode, and deeper customization. You're getting more for your dollar with Cod than you do with this game.

  7. Call of Duty is a tried and true IP that has undergone many changes. The best comparison in this case would be to look at Call of Duty 4. Yes it still had more guns, more optics, and more game modes, but there certainly weren't as many as you find today.
Titanfall is brand new, it's probably going to spawn a sequel with dozens of new weapons, and after the complaints of customization or lack there of, it will more than likely be very rich a user focused customizable.

The thing to do with Titanfall now is to encourage the devs to give you more. Lots of people are already doing it- New modes, new custom games, more weapons sights, more weapons... Respawn wants to hear this, it's plastered all over the main menu. Tell them
what you like, what you don't, and what you want more of. By the time we reach DLC pack number 3, I have a feeling there will be loads of content. I realise that does not count as included content for the price you originally paid, but what it will do is set
a platform for the sequel to adhere to.

  8. Titanfall should be worth half of what it costs.

No splitscreen and No campaign is the two basic reason I would buy this game.

The amount of content included on the disc is certainly one way to assess value. However, if you don't use all that content - what does that do to the value?

In COD I rarely use all the guns. I usually find a good assault rifle and a good SMG that I stick with pretty much all the time. I'm not a sniper/quickscoper so I don't get any value from those. I don't really use pistols/sidearms so those don't give me
    any value.

In the last COD game I haven't played the Squads mode. I paid for it because it came on the disc - but I haven't gotten any value from it. I know that many people don't like the Extinction/Zombie modes in COD - so they don't get any value from those.

If you actually use all the guns in COD and play all the different modes available - then I can see how you think Titanfall's content doesn't match the value you get from COD. However - I don't think that's representative of the value most players get. I
think that the group of players that evenly splits their time between SP, MP, Squads, Zombies in COD is very, very small.

  10. It's interesting you said what you don't use you haven't got value for, because like you I would find a gun in Call of Duty I liked, and use it the most. In Titanfall I have given each weapon an extended run out. I would like more guns, but I think having
fewer guns has actually helped me experiment with them more. As for Burn Cards, well there are way more of those than perks in Call of Duty. I keep finding new ones. I wonder how many their actually are. Oh, and plus Burn Cards can be added into free DLC because
    they are just random cards.

Personally, I think Respawn should have gone down the FIFA Ultimate Team route and had you open packs and trade the cards. It seems out of sorts for a shooter, but there are lots of people who get so addicted to that type of trading/mystery pack opening
mechanic that they would lap it up.

They couldn't implement that sort of thing now because they would have to introduce a currency mechanic, but I dunno, just a thought. Hardly necessary, just a nice little bit of icing.

  12. Wow, more than 50 of them. I think that trumps the last two Call of Duty perk selections combined.

^^So I am guessing CoDs ONE weapon with 20 different camos trumps Titanfalls NO camos for any weapon?

  14. If you want to defend Call of Duty to the death mate, you be my guest. Camos mean very little to me, especially when people just buy them with real money. They used to be great. If the guy had Red Tiger he had 150 headshots. It was a mark of skill. There
is a Rubber ducky one now... It's a total joke.

  15. ^^A mark of skill? LOL, 99% of the time some kid boosted with his buddy and a tac insert for headshots. Im not "defending" CoD to death, but I will make the debate if theres a stoopid comparison between the two.
