Titanfall - Searching for Data Center

So since Tuesday of last week my son has been unable to connect to Titanfall at all it sits at the main screen and says in the bottom corner "Data Center: Searching..." and if we hit X the list of Data Centers is blank. Gave it a week and nothing has changed
so spent all day with almost 3 hours on the phone with Microsoft support and over 2 hours with my ISP support nothing is resolved.

Steps taken today:

Power Cycled many times all devices Modem/Router/Xbox

Cleared MAC address on Xbox

Made Static IP for Xbox, changed the DNS on Xbox

Checked all ports on router, also direct connected to Modem bypassing Router

Deleted Profiles, saves, the game itself and reinstalled all

Did a full Xbox System Factory restore

This game has worked since day one and is one of his most played games. How is it it just up and stop working, and all his other games like Destiny and Diablo and other online games work. With 5+ hours on the phone today and issue not resolved I don't
know what to do next.

Titanfall Data Center Searching

Ever since I've owned this game (bought on Xbox Live with all the DLC), every time I try to play the data center says "searching" and if you click X, its blank. I have done the following steps:

Hard Reset

Uninstall and Reinstall

Made sure my NAT type is Open

Port Forward all Xbox and EA ports

Reset Modem and Router

Set my IP on my Xbox to my routers DMZ

Contacted my ISP

I am at a loss of what to do next. The only way I've played this is when my friend is on and I go to his friend icon and join game. Then I play just fine. Please help this is really frustrating.

Just completed the whole guide step by step and nothing has changed. NAT is Open as was before, all games work still minus Titanfall refuses to connect.

If the Xbox One console you guys are using is set as your son's home console, you will be able to share his Xbox Live benefits and be able to play online with your account. Let's have you try logging into the Xbox One console with your Xbox Live account
you're posting with. When you sign in, make sure you're the only profile logged in. When you're signed in, try to play TItanfall. If you're able to see the data centers and play an multiplayer game, have your son sign in with his Xbox Live account and play
while you're signed in and see if it lets him play Titanfall. The reason why I want to try that is to see if there are any profile restrictions in his account that would cause this issue.

No go. Under my name only the game sits on the main menu with the "Data Center: Searching..." in the bottom corner.

 

Thank you for trying that! Any chance you would be able to connect your Xbox One console to a different network? That would really help us find the root of this issue.

 

My husband just got put the xbox on his cell phone and the game loaded. Tried direct connect through Modem via ethernet and wireless routers and it does searching again. Is there a reason why this one game won't work on our home internet months later of
it working fine and now works on cell phone internet?

 

Awesome, at least we're getting somewhere! Do you have more than one Xbox in your household, could be either Xbox One or Xbox 360. So far it sounds like a port could be blocked, and knowing if there are more than one Xbox console will help. \/

 

No only the one Xbox One. We checked all ports needed on the router while on the phone with xbox support, also even tried ethernet connection straight to the modem directly passing the router.

 

I pulled this from
EA's support page for Titanfall. I would check and see if these ports are open as well:

All Players

• TCP/HTTP: 443; 25000-25099; 30000 – 30099
• UDP: 8125; 25000-25099; 30000 – 30099

Xbox 360 & Xbox One players

• UDP: 53; 88; 3074
• TCP: 53; 80; 3074

Open those up if they aren't already and post back if it works out or not!

 

those are all open. no change

 

Can you provide your modem and router brand and model number for us? That would also help a lot!
