Titanfall resolution

Funny how nobody cared about resolutions on Xbox 360 but now with the Xbox One people want all games to run in 1080p or they wont buy it.



Not completely true. For instance, if you Google search 'Halo 3 resolution' you'll find dozens of hits for the 'debacle' in which Bungie had to eventually defend themselves for
not having the game meet up to the 720p standard. Yup, people were actually up in arms because H3 was only something like 640p and wasn't considered "true HD" at the time.

I bring that up for a reason. Take a look at Halo 3, then >> to Halo 4. Take a look at GOW, then >> to GOW 3. Take a look at Mass Effect, then >> to ME 3. Every one of these games'
debut was released early in the Xbox 360's life cycle and their sequels covered a very large span of its life cycle. I played all of them from first game to last and the advance in graphics is a quantum leap, IMO from debut to last game [on the 360].

I think some people just want or need a reason to whine and complain and graphics is just controversial enough to fit for them. The argument is nothing shy of short sighted and
impatient TBH. They want graphical abilities that likely won't be realized for a few years yet, give or take.

Not happy with XboxOne's graphics? Wait until they improve before you buy the **** console, or just don't buy it. Not patient enough to wait? That isn't MS's or game dev's fault.

Sorry, don't usually rant... but this horse has been glue factory material for a very loooooong time now. lol

 

not going anywhere. down maybe. fr dips to almost 1 in instances, that's horrible. not going up that's for sure

 

Blue Illusion just hit the nail on the head right there. It's purely a matter of time before the graphics are blowing our mind. Those series are a great example of single developers improving over time but it's important to remember that the console never
changed! Same hardware, same OS, same console. The only thing that changed was the skills of the developers and that's not going to change this generation.

 

Not true Yes same hardware but MS and other will built software to make said hardware run better. Look at DX12.

 

it's all good. not worried about resolution. developers need at least a year with hardware

 

The resolution doesn't bother me in the least. However, tearing does. So does this game still suffer from excessive tearing, like the beta did?
