TitanFall needs RANKED PLAYLIST

Give it time. I'm sure the competitive community will get their own playlist if the demand is there.

Actually, this game sucks.

I really like titanfall so far. However, I have one huge issues with it.

This game is Lacking Competition. Titanfall is a lot of fun, but many individual games aren't. Not to me at least. I do not enjoy playing entire rounds of LTS 6 vs 3 and not even having to try.

I do not enjoy pounding on what must be (based on their skill) 10 year old children or 5 year old chimpanzees and obliterating them.

The XP system is a joke, "Progression" is a joke. many people have already cleared Generation 5.

Why is there no ranked playlist for people to compete on?

This game is going to die out quickly if a sustainable playlist is not created. Social/Casual playlists are only fun for so long. I understand that ranked games are not for everyone, but either are community/non-competitve games. Why not have a ranked
playlist and an unranked playlist? Why not give those who want to, the option to play a legitimate match?

 

Does the original halo 2 multiplayer go online on xbox live in ranked matches?

Just got the game and yes, there's a playlist just for halo 2 classic multiplayer maps. There's more playlists to come probably.

(Ranked coming in later update; there's no ranked playlists yet)

 

A ranking system,great idea,even more people will play it just for their K/D ratio and disconnect when they're loosing....

 

remember they can add playlists FOR FREE they did it on halo and cod all the time, BE PATIENT young grasshopper, and good things will come to you

 

I'd rather leave it like this. Matches are still intense, but there is next to no abuse being hurled around. Ranked playlists= Call of Duty-like abusive racist kids taking the game too seriously. I wont support that.

 

I don't think the settings of Titanfall will ever be accepted by most competitive players tbh. It would have to be stripped down to COD like settings to be accepted and then you may as well just go and play COD.

 

Doesn't have to be ranked to have a better matchmaking system, which I think is in the works.

 

They (Respawn) could just make a competetive/clans/whatever playlist very easily and just insert it with an update. Then if you wanna play that playlist, play that. If not, dont.

 

Tzar of Kaos....that is not true AT ALL. You couldnt be more off base. Clearly you have never played in a competitive setting.

In ranked mathces very few people, if anyone, plays strictly for their own K/D. The only thing that matters in ranked matches is a team win...NOT your individual stats..which is all kids are playing for in social/casual matches. Disconnecting when losing
would result in a loss...so why would people do that? They probably do that now in the casual *** matches...because there is no reason not to quit when you're losing. There is no penalty. You really could not be more wrong.

As for the settings stuff...I agree with you guys...the settings and style for this game are not typical to MLG type games. But i dont think this needs to go that far...I just want some competition.

Fatal Shock....I dont know what you consider intense...but Titanfall is anything but intense 9/10 games.

Most games are absolute blowouts. I'll be happy if I find a single lobby all night that has a few competitive games before everyone starts quitting mid-match. As for the language and ***...you cant even hear the opposing team talk...cant hear them pre-match,
cant hear them during the match, cant hear them post match...only your own team...simple as that.

Not everyone wants ranked...i get that, but why not have the option...like how Uneasy said...

You guys can keep enjoying your social games, I want some fierce competition. The game has the potential for it...its just currently damn near impossible to get 12 decent players in a game all at the same time.

 

You must end up in dud games then, because every match I play is exciting as hell. Explosions, fires, Titans, gunfire everywhere... Utterly relentless.

 

As for ranked not playing KD that is false, false, false. In competitive Gears of War I had a kid threaten to kill me for taking off the head of someone he was about to Chainsaw. In Call of Duty 4 I killed the last man before my teammate could plant the
bomb, he threatened to kill me. In Halo 4 I got 5 quick kills with the sniper. In the lobby afterwards guess what? They threatened to kill me. Don't say competitive is all about the wins and not individual stats because that is just not true. And the silence
after an intense match is refreshing. Trash talk is poor sportsmanship.

 

I just so happen to always end up in dud games? Unlikely. I think i just have a higher expectation for competition.

The simple fact that you are tracking your titanfall progression so proudly shows me that you are a very casual player. Gears of war is NEVER competitive...as for COD, i havnt played in the last couple years. Competitive, ranked matches are all about WINS.
not individual stats. People threatening you is the reason youre against other people having the option to play ranked? you wouldnt have to. You can keep playing your "intense" social games. But let us have competition.

you're some hot stuff at video games? Get the hell out of here with that.
