Titanfall is FUN

My wife, who has never played a FPS, picked it up, did the training, and played a couple matches. She was actually able to get some kills, and had some fun! That is why i love the smart pistol, and love the grunts in the game. I find the smart pistol to
be to difficult to use against other pilots in gunfights, but for new people to the genre, it really is a fantastic weapon.

There is an accessibility to this game that is not in other FPS's. I've never went 4K and 4D in a match, and felt so useful. I will say though, for a 6 on 6 game, teamwork is so important, I have a hard time playing without my buddies.

 

I agree. This is actually the first game I have played online, and although my kill/death ratio is appalling I'm still really enjoying every game. There is always an opportunity to kill something on the map before you get wasted, so you don't feel like you
are just endlessly respawning to fuel a level 50, gen 3's perfect game. Well done Respawn.

 

By far the most fun I had since MW4 and thats saying alot. 20 seconds for Titan boy what a rush LOL

I've played all the shooters, and put many many hours into all the COD's. This game is by far the most actual FUN. I don't care if FPS purists bash it. Everyone can play what they want and if this game brings more people to the genre, that's all good.
I love it and it's only going to get better.

 

I agree this game is fun especially when you're going perfect 9 out of almost every 12 games and the the other 3 games you're only dying 1 or 2 times

 

I think the game is a bit overhyped, but the bottom line, it is FUN. The lack of a story and the ability to play Co-Op through that story like Halo or Gears of War truly limit the appeal of the game. My wife used to play Halo and Gears of War with me because
we would always go through the story playing Co Op. Once that happened she would eventually start playing the MP matches when friends came over.

Without that, she has no interest in the game at all.
