Titanfall is FUN

I went to my brothers house over the weekend and played this on the X1 for almost 2 straight hours. What an amazing experience! Started with the tutorial and then went online. This truly is a very fun game. Plays so smooth and there really is nothing else
like this at all. Feels like a mix of a lot of different games all in one. I was also surprised by the variety of maps. Some of the maps have dragons!!! So having the sci fi element allows them to do just about anything they want with Titanfall. BTW I was
quite shocked when I punched someone with the mech for the first time. :lol:

I already pre-ordered this for the 360 and I am really looking forward to picking this up next week the 25th. I do expect some server issues when it releases on the 360 but hopefully they get those resolved after a few days.

 

I am definitely one of those nonFPS experts and typically don't play online because of that....but had a blast this past weekend. And, while I did improve, I still got beat up pretty regularly in Attrition, but faired well in Hard Point where my k/d wasn't
as critical to the game.

 

@thebluehen I hear you. I'm in the same boat as I typically don't play FPS and consistently get whooped when I do, but have had a blast with Titanfall.

 

That's the wonderful part of Titanfall. Really anyone should be able to jump into this game and have fun even if you don't play FPS on a regular basis. Its a nice new experience that runs very smooth. Hopefully it runs this smooth on the 360 version.

 

I'm really hoping this is the case. Being of the slightly older generation i really fell away from MP after the first modern warfare.

I just didnt have enough time to put in to be competative. I'm looking forward to getting into this.

 

You cant go wrong with dragons and dinosaurs. I personally thought this level was very FUN.

 

The only thing about Titanfall that brings me to the verge of raging, is the lag compensation.

However when I search around and find that sweet-spot of a lobby/server, it is so much fun and addicting. I have a difficult time putting the controller down, no matter what time it is.

So I guess you can say, Titanfall and I have a love/hate relationship. lol

 

Can't get over how much I enjoy it. I don't even get mad when I get executed! I don't even get mad at all! It's been a long time since a shooter so intense could somehow keep me so calm.

 

I'm getting smashed and I don't care. K/D is embarrassing and I don't care. I've been shot, stabbed, kicked, squashed, exploded, set aflame and drowned in a bucket and I don't care.

Yeah, I'm really hooked on this. Can't play as much as I want, but always have a blast when I do. I thought it was almost too chaotic and confusing during the beta, but once you get over that adjustment period, it's a good time. My only real complaint is
that I would like the ability to customize the Titan a little. Just so I can recognize him wrecking house while hunting pilots. It looks pretty generic at this point. Maybe your have to unlock custom options by performing well as a Titan, or something. But
that's not really a gameplay issue, more an immersion or attachment issue.

Going to my brothers again tomorrow. Looking forward to playing Titanfall on the X1 again.
