Titanfall is FUN

I am sure I'll get flamed for this, but wanted to put forth another thread to support this game. It's not an immersive story based saga, but it is a fun and accessible FPS with a few fun twists. You get to pilot a mech! How fun is that?!?

And I do like the idea that non FPS experts might actually be able to jump into a game and feel as though they can play it. I have a number of buddies that used to be gamers but fell behind and don't like to play COD or Battlefield because they get destroyed.
Kudos to EA for focusing on the FUN of gaming.

I'm looking forward to the next time I can drop into my mech and mess some stuff up!

Titanfall still rocks...

Haven't played Titanfall for a week or so... have been working, plus I decided to try Destiny... total snoozefest... put Titanfall back in the tray tonight and realized how much fun it was... I know they are very different games, but I found Destiny to be
a grind and not really fun... Titanfall is fun... just my opinion...

 

Great post. I am picking this up in 2 weeks on the 360. Looking forward to the mechs and vertical gameplay. Most important, the FUN.

 

This game is probably the most casual shooter I have ever played and it's really fun as a result.

 

This game is AWESOME!!!! I haven't really enjoyed a FPS since Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam DLC, but this game is fun and exciting. Team oriented modes are amazing with the fast movement of the parkour movement. Incredible.

 

+1 to you OP. We need more posts like this supporting the game. Tired of seeing ppl compare it to other FPS titles. The game is so much fun!!

I'm really enjoying the unique aspects of this game that set it apart from other FPS games currently on the market!!

 

Reminds me of the old Quake 3 Arena days. Better graphics and gameplay of course but still very similar in how it plays.

 

Couldn't agree more. Loving the game so far.

 

Love the game, but hate when you get one or 2 players that ruin the match because they are A) either too good or b) they can summon a titan immediately when the match starts.

 

Sure if you enjoy getting into lobbies one hour after the game launched where the entire enemy team is lvl 40+, or where you watch people with one bar connections run into walls and kill your entire team, or you shoot people in the back 3 times with a shotgun
and they turn around and kill you with 100 health remaining, or if you enjoy watching people miss by miles in kill cams and still kill you. This game has the same problems cod has and you would think that after all these years these guys could figure out how
to fix them.

 

Great post! When it boils down, games should be FUN, and Titanfall is loaded with fun and exciting gameplay

 

supporting the game?..so the developers make more money, this should be half price considering its mp only...rip off

 

I think of it this way Unknit - in COD you were basically doing one of 3 things in the campaign: Watching a cut scene, navigating through a "scripted" scene, or engaged in a big battle with the enemy. In Titanfall - the only difference is that there aren't
scripted scenes and the big battles are online multiplayer matches.

It's really pretty cool. I'd love to see more of this in future games.
