Titanfall for xbox360 is on Ebay,

The Xbox One version has its own issues but from reading that, it seems on par with the Xbox One for a 8-9 year old console with specs that don't come close to the Xbox One version, it seems that either Blue Point did a far better job then any thought they
would with the ageing console or Respawn didn't do a good job with the Xbox One version.

As far as I'm aware, the 360 version uses the cloud, i would assume it had too has the cloud is supposed to power all the grunts and other bits and bats! Didn't hear of any issues with the Xbox One, i'll be looking at snagging this if i can find it cheap
enough!

 

I always thought the 360 version would be close to the Xbox One version and do believe this was the main reason it was delayed on 360 is because Microsoft wanted it to shift as many consoles as possible, this doesn't surprise me.

To be honest though, has there been a significant gap between ( visually or with how the game runs ) on any cross gen game we have seen so far ( on either next gen system ) ..

Forza 5, does it look "visually" much better than what we saw on Forza 4? It looks better, not a great improvement though.

Assassins Creed 4 on XB1/PS4 ( COD aswell ) is there a big difference between what it looked/run like on 360/PS3? I personally don't think there is.

I would hope in a few years from now, whether be on a new Forza title, Titanfall we will start seeing a real difference but as someone posted in the UK XB1 forum not so long back, at the moment the 360/PS3 are being pushed to the max, the next gen consoles
the developers are only just starting to get to grips with?

 

Sorry but i have read that article a couple of times and its doesnt at any point say its on a par with the One version. Its talks about the difference in textures and its plain in the visual comparisons that the One and PC versions are graphically superior.
It also makes reference to having to compromise in respect of frame rates and controller input lag. (there were no input lag issues with the One as far as im aware, and im the first to admit the One version does have some scree tear issues) so its a damn
fantastic job that Bluepoint have done in bringing the Titanfall experience to the 360. But to say its the same or on a par with the One or PC version is false.

 

Its a shooter bud, i can play any shooter and hold my own, since the glory days of UT 96!

 

UT 96... a game were you just pay for it and that's that. All this time later and people still play on it. Awesome game

As for TF 360 the way I see it is so long as people who paid for it are having minimal issues once the current ones are resolved, I am happy for them. Makes sense if that is the reason it was held off, especially after that 96% sale rise we saw in the UK
but I guess we can only speculate. I would prefer to believe that it was delayed due to tech faults which may also be prudent given the news of peoples complaints / server issues. Who knows really :/

I played Titanfall on my nephews Xbox360 earlier today (my old one). A although it pains me to say it, there is a huge a difference. The Xboxone version beats it in every possible way.

Enabling 30hz mode (bassically Vsync) really hurts the game, the textures are very ERGH and bland at all times. I am not a big fan of Xbox-one. But xbox-one's version on Titanfall really is much betterthan the 360 version.

 

Well I finally pre ordered this after seeing the leaked footage the other day,arrived today and well what can I say this is one of the best FPS out there ,up there with BF4 and Ghosts.

I don't own a xbox one so I can only go on the 360 and I haven't had any issues at all graphics gameplay all spot on,I'm playing the campaign at the moment and really enjoying it ,it's just team death match ,conquest etc really just linked together to form
a sort of story but any one who has read the one reviews will know all this.Im very happy with my purchase the old xbox has life in it yet.

I'm only a casual gamer so I don't look at frame rates etc but I would notice if the game played rubbish or crashed etc and it doesn't unlike many others on release day.

All in all I think Titanfall is worthy of the hype even on the 360,great game.

Got to say that the 360 version looks great. Sure it isn't Xbox One standards but graphics and frame rate don't matter right guys, only game play.

 

I've played probably 3hrs in total so far and I'm just into double figures ,but you do seem to level up every other game but like I say I'm really enjoying it.

That video only goes to 720p, Titanfall on xboxone is 792p and on xbox360 its 600p. That video for some reason makes the xboxone version look a lot less crisp and detailed.

I am not a xbox-one fan and any positives xbox-one gets from me it has to earn, but that video is poor. I have played both and the xbox-one version really is a lot better.

 

I quite agree OIG that the One version looks better. But as people on here are so quick to point out, graphics and frame rate don't matter. Only the gameplay.

From everything I read the 360 version is just as fun as the One version.

I completely hear what you're saying regarding gameplay over graphics when it suites, EG a certain other console hits 1080p lol. An I'm sure that is why many on here are quiet.

Also to be honest I'm not sure how many textures I notice when 2 Titans are thrashing my Titan which I have waited 3 minutes to get an have only had for 30 seconds lol.

But yeah DC, I see what your point is lol.

 

It's all down to individuals expectation and preference. I wont grumble if a game is 720 / 900 / 1080 ect.. but I understand that some people want what they consider to be a standard in todays world. Sure it would be ideal (at least for the health of these
forums lol) to have all games in 1080p but that's just not happening right now.

However in retrospect will I be one of the users that jumps up and down doing the carlton dance when a game is announced at 1080p? Nope, it doesn't matter to me now and it wont matter to me when they all start hitting 1080p. So long as they play smooth and
offer a lot of fun, I'm happy.

I do understand and appreciate that people want their games at high resolution and FPS and they have every right to be upset about it but I think a lot of the time, it gets blown out of proportion because it either turns into a console loyalty war or the
discussion has been had that often that people have nothing left to say on the matter. That's how I see it either way.
