Titanfall fix for connection problems

I was having connection problem with titanfall as many are were you can not connect to the titanfall severs but I found if you hook your xbox directly to your modem then the connection problems go away.

1) unplug ethernet cable from router

2) plug ethernet cable into modem (or plug modem into xbox 360)

3) run game and see if that fixed it.



My game was stuck on the attempting connection screen so if yours does the same then try this

Titanfall Connection problems

My roomie and I want to play titanfall together. It almost never works and if it does we cant leave the lobby (even between games) and stay together.

How in the world is this still not fixed? No problems with destiny or any other game. Both hardwired, open NAT, priortiy router status, etc.

 

There has to be a better fix for the connection problems. I cannot cut out the rest of the household just to be able to play a game.

 

Going straight from the modem should always work. Sounds like you need to modify your router settings. Firewall, port forwarding, etc.

 

Does this resolve the DLC connection issue? Every time there is an update to TitanFall, Microsoft screws it up. They are a bunch of *** trying to hump a doorknob. My modem is upstairs and my Xbox is downstairs.. Unless i buy a 40 foot cable, this isn't
going to work.

yes they said they will update us every thirty minutes. taking a lot longer than i thought it would

 

I had the same issue, I spent more time trying to log on than playing the game. I have Roadrunner.com with there highest internet speed and I still had issue. The game itself states to search from the list they give you for the best ping rate well, that
list left me two north America and somewhere out west in North America with a ping rate of 25 or 26; so, I stayed with 26 since trying 25 rate did the same issue and all the other places were above 1.20 or higher.

Anyway, what I was able to play because I rented the game was fun once I got use to how to play the game. I like it because you did not see spawn killing by everyone maybe one or two players were able to reach your re spawn in time which made the game much
more enjoyable unlike COD when you have everyone at your re-spawn spot.

However, this connection issue was a big "DON'T BUY THIS GAME" for me. When a company puts out a product with so many issues as EA did with Titanfall why would I want to buy a bad connection game? Your right, I wouldn't buy it. I do hope the games connection
issues are fix right but as I read there already has been 3 patch updates for the connection issue and still there are issues too bad EA for your failed attempt but make a better product.

Everyone knows the US Government has place a limited amount of Internet speed I am running 50 mps without a booster and with the booster I would only get another 5 mps according to Time Warner and yes time Warner runs different speeds for different states
what I get in NY you don't get in Idaho. Anyways, enjoy Titanfall I know I did but I've moved on to another game SE-3.

 

To bad I all ready bought it. I can't get past the server connection issue, so it's wasted $$ for me. EA can shove it!
