I ordered the disc but am think of changing to download.

Can disc installs run without the disc if you have a DLC code?

It works, installed Titanfall by disc, removed disc, scanned my code (thanks Kinect) and no more disc required.

 

Receiving unwarranted MSG - "Do you own this game or app?"

Having same issue with titanfall...I own the disc.

 

i'm downloading at midnight, even though that most likely means i won't be able to play until the next day.

 

Download Is there any confirmation if it'll hit midnight or will it hit around 5/6am as usual.

 

Disc and my Gamestop is having a midnight launch, and I'm taking the 11th off. Probably won't get much sleep within the first 24 hours, after launch.

 

then youll be saying, patch patch patch

 

I'm getting the DL because of the bundle but I prefer disc. -Especially if I want to take it to a friends or re-sell it later.

Unless you live somewhere where acquiring a disc is difficult I don't really understand the affinity for the DL version. Anyone care to explain?

 

Ever since the Xbox One came out I have been strictly digital and it's amazing! I don't get suckered in by pre-order bonuses, I don't have store clerks trying to sell me on something I don't want, I don't have to pre-order games if I want them on launch
day, and patches download automatically since my Xbox is always at least in low power mode. When Deadrising 3 had the 13GB update, I didn't even know about it until I looked up what the update did because I was curious.

What's even better is that there will be a Titanfall launch celebration broadcasted on Twitch. After watching that, I can just start downloading a digital copy immediately instead of going to a crowded store!

 

I will be going Disc,That way if the game goes either nerfing the guns,or we start to have no servers then i can sell my copy,(Not being negative but i am looking forward to this game,)Due to one game Cod ghost,Terrible lag,Stats not properly updating etc.etc.)

 

^^Well, BF has its share of post release problems too, just saying. Isnt there some sort of digital "buy back" program? Ive heard it before.

 

as im downloading it as well i still think it will only up date at 12pst means i have to stay up to 2am.

 

There was a way to sell digital copies before all of the policies were changed. Who knows, they might bring the good things back and possibly make digital copies cheaper. I know they are at least seriously considering cheaper digital versions.

 

disk cause dl it would take about 3 days for me cause I have slow *** internet but that's alright disk is better anyway IMO.

 

I will probably download if it is available at midnight, otherwise I will just go buy the disc.
