Titanfall Xbox 360 Delayed Till April

Titanfall Xbox 360 is officially delayed to April. In order to give Bluepoint Games "a little more time."

Titanfall will now be available on Xbox 360 on April 8 in North America and April 11 in Europe, EA has announced.

The news was revealed an EA Blog penned by executive vice president Patrick Soderlund, who explained he wants to give Bluepoint Games "a little more time."

Are you one of the few who chose to wait for the 360 copy?

Ouch. Thankfully that isn't 'too' much of a wait for users that are holding off for the 360 version. Thanks for the link Messiah. (fixed it for you).

Definitely makes you wonder whether or not the game should have even been launched on 360. Respawn said themselves that it was a massive task to summon the power from the 360 alone which is why installation is so essential. If it's having pre-launch problems
that have delayed the launch, maybe they should have just kept it as a truly next-gen game. I can't think of any other reason why it would be delayed anyway.

I cant think of why the delay either bud. My guess would be a delay on a day one update for it or something a like. I just hope for the sake of everyone who is looking forward to it on the 360 gets a similar experience X1 users are having. You do raise a
fair point though.

Microsoft is selling quite a few Xbox One's because of Titanfall. Anymore delays (This is the second delay) and some people who were holding out for the 360 version might just get the Titanfall bundle and be done with it.

 

Also a good point ^ especially taking the 95% rise into consideration.

 

A valid point. It may be a sneaky way of drawing in customers but I actually hope it works. I genuinely believe that last-gen is holding back this gen and as soon as X1 becomes the norm amongst Xbox gamers, the sooner we can really embrace it's power.

Titanfall was delayed again to try and force 360 users to make the jump. They figure after people see the game looks and runs the same also on the same servers they would have no reason to waste the money on a new console. Fact is the game is not next
gen.

 

The only time my 360 will be powered on is to take advantage of Microsoft's free games with gold program. That way a few years later when xbox 360 support is dropped I have a whole backlog of free games I can go play. Rest in piece Xbox 360 you will be missed.
