Titanfall data centre all the same

Does everyone get the same option to join what ever data centre

mine has west europe 25 ms

will that show for everyone or just people with good pings etc

reason i ask is how can french people have a good ping and join west europe but in game there on one bar lol

Yep, in Titanfall, for example, it will ping the data centres and order them by which has the best ping, so you would connect to the data centre with the lowest ping by default. In that particular game, you can connect to any data centre you like though.

 

High Latency

Yep, that test isn't pinging the nearest Azure data centre. I just ran the test and the latency was 157ms, but when I fired up Titanfall and connected to the nearest Azure data centre, the latency was 28ms.

 

Although their ping may be good, if they have bad internet they'll never get a solid connection.

The 25ms you see is simply the response time to that particular server, 25 milli seconds. This is why the further you branch out from your home, the higher this will be, because it takes longer for the data to transfer across the globe.

 

The ping is the transmission time to and from the server. If you have crappy bandwidth or a provider that caps your data limits the you could still have crappy game issues.

 

^this. They are not all the same. If you want to play on a high ping server, get ready to lose.

 

You can change which data center you use, the pings vary slightly and you can shade off a few numbers by switching.

 

the data centre is AZURE centre closest to u for me west euro is 33ms
