Titanfall Controller has Drifting Analog Stick

Hello, I have a limited edition Titanfall Xbox One controller that I have been using since about a week or two before the game came out (so early March), however, now the right analog stick is slowly drifting up making it very hard to use, I've tested it
in various different games and also checked my other controller and the problem is only with this controller.

I did just get a headset adapter and downloaded the headset update about two days ago, and the problem never happened before that. Not sure if that could have caused it or if it's just a coincidence but figured I would bring that up.

I was mainly wondering if this is something that has a known fix and if not, do the extra controllers I purchase come with any form of warranty/way to get it repaired? Especially with it being the Special Edition Titanfall one, since I saw some people mentioning
that when they would send in day one controllers they would get standard ones back. I purchased it at Best Buy but their exchange/return policy isn't that long so I can no longer exchange it there.

Xbox 360 controller - Bring it back!

I find it a bit funny that people look back on the 360 controller so fondly. Sure I didn't have any that just stopped working completely but I did have 2 with broken mic jacks and a bunch with drifting analog sticks.

The early 360 white controllers were good but they cheeped out later on and produced junk analog sticks that would only last a few months before they would start drifting.

I'm fine with the X1 controller but the analog sticks seem to still be prone to drifting. They need to beef the analog sticks up but I don't see that happening it's a way for them to sell more controllers.

Anyone having problems with Geralt auto walking when you stop?

Not happening to me. Sounds like your controller's analog stick is drifting. Do you have another controller to test with?

That's kind of what I figured, what's the easiest way to go about doing that? I went to the site where you can repair/replace the Xbox One system and the accessories it comes with, but I can't find a place to register individual controllers there?

@CrypticBoz - the issue of the failing analog sticks has been of public knowledge for nearly two years and they've not addressed it, in fact the Elite controllers which are being sold on the pitch that they are of superior durability and craftsmanship as
to extend its longevity when on the contrary they are actually of the same shoddy build as the original controllers as they sport the same plastic pieces on the analog module that fail as with the original controllers, this is what causes the analog sticks
to fail and to develop stick drift
