Titanfall might be out the door and in our hands, but as is common for online-focused titles, it’s far from “final.” Respawn Entertainment producer Drew McCoy answered some fan questions yesterday, revealing some planned improvements to the experience.

A companion app is planned for the game, though McCoy wasn’t able to offer any details yet. “Unfortunately it didn't make it in time for release, but its coming soon,” he said.

McCoy also says that improvements to the party system and fixes to the chat issues some players are experiencing will be along in a future patch. Another common complaint that deals with team balancing between matches is also under investigation.

As for PC players, your requests for uncapped frame rate and private lobbies are being explored right now. A reduction in inter-match lobby time was proposed, though no commitment on a change was made. For more on Titanfall, check out

Companion App?

There's no companion app in this game which is a shame.

 

Wow on android it has 0+ downloads ( obviously some but must be less than 100 )

Why oh why is this not part of Smartglass ?

Downloaded it to my iPhone last night, saw how much memory it used and promptly deleted it. Larger than any other app I have by far.

 

Just 1 more thing I can't use without a smartphone...

 

I downloaded it on Android yesterday. It's pretty useless. It's just weapon stats, ability and burn card descriptions, stuff like that. There's also some Titanfall lore, if you're in to that kind of thing. There's a link that says "stats" but when I click
on it, it tells me to play the game on Xbox One to view my stats. I was hoping it could interact with the game in some way.

 

The companion app is already forgotten about.

Shoot even i was like Companion? Oooohh thats right these games had that feature at first.

 

The Watch Dogs companion app looks like it's gonna be sick. I'm gonna control police cars and ram x24hrs2livex until he sends me messages pleading for me to stop.

 

Why cant we be friends? Kumbaya mutha...shut yo mouf!

I will definitely not be sending @Sword_StyIe any messages begging for #Mercy. If anything he will be asking me for advice on how to do something. I teach them well(Not really, Sword is my go to guy & Louie) But it's all love.
