TitanFall Bundle Disc Drive Error

Hello, I went to the Midnight launch event excited to get an Xbox One Console. I have eagerly awaited the release of this bundle to enter the next generation of Gaming. I get home, start the TitanFall download, In the mean time I plan to play my new copy
of Forza 5(So excited for Forza) insert the disc **GRIND**GRIND**GRIND**. Disc drive will not read the disc. Try again **GRIND**GRIND**GRIND**. My brand new, two hour old Xbox One will not read any discs.

Attempt to file a repair report on the Xbox.com-error, please try again...for the next 10 hours this is what the web page tells me.

Call customer support, they recomend I call the store and exchange it, great, I get my new Xbox today .

Call the store, "Did you buy our in house coverage"-EB Games associate. Me-"No", Associate-"Sorry, that disc issue will be microsofts problem you will have to deal with there warranty but they are great to deal with".

Call customer support back, Half hour on the phone, on hold 4 times, he looks up EB Games return policy, see's I cant return it...Still can not get a repair request done because the titanFall bundle isn't on the repair options list and the page won't work
for him.

So here I sit, a broken Xbox One purchased less that 12 hours ago..can't take it to the store, can't send it in...I over looked the problems I had with the 360 and now this. My PS4 has worked great and my buddy's laughed at me for wanting an Xbox One, But
I love Forza and wanted TitanFall, looks like they have the last laugh.

I figured if I waited a couple months the new console issues would be resolved, NOPE.

I am so fed up with xbox support

I just sent my console, which is a Titanfall bundle console, to MS to be repaired because the disc drive didn't work. I tracked it and it showed arriving at its destination on Thursday. I pray I don't have this same experience. I inserted a note making
sure that they know it is a Titanfall bundle console as well as having other paid downloads on the system. Since Titanfall was digital I hope I don't lose it.

 

Post october update noise

I have 2 Xbox One's, the forst is Kinectless version, second is Titanfall bundle with Kinect, both with coil whine pre-update (secon unit less severe). After update, coil whine is gone on the kinectless unit, but still the same on Titanfall bundle. However,
the kinectless One got the horrible disc drive noise, same as DimaK67. Noise will gone after 20 minutes , but is very irritating, specially with Blu-ray discs.

 

why does the bundle have to be in a repair list, the console is the same as every other xbox one. The only legit reason EB shold not do an exchange for a new bundle is if you claimed the game code, and in that event I don't know why they would not just
swap the cards with the code

assuming the game was just a code in the box.

 

I just sent mine back to Amazon.

 

Microsoft gave me the same story, the titanfall bundle xbox one is not in the list of repairs.. same issue Drive Grinding issue and not loading discs. waiting on senior support for answers $500 piece oj junk lying on my tabletop. retailers will not accept
it for refunds or exchange. supper p-oed

 

Mine is doing the same thing. I do not get the grinding but it does not read any discs. I can tell you right now if I call Xbox tomorrow and they do not have a plan that does not have me waiting a month I will be contacting a lawyer to go after Ebgames and
Microsoft. At ebgames we are suppose to get a 14 day return on anything broken. And Microsoft can not make someone wait while they mail out a box for someone to return a system and wait for a used one back. That is what they do they send you back a used one.
My first call in the morning will be to my lawyer. I know it sounds crazy but until someone goes after them they will treat us like this. We spend $500 of our hard earned money and now we stuck. Not this sucka

Just got off the phone with a great rep. from xbox support. He has set me up with the advance replacement option, so a new xbox one is on the way(hopefuly with a working disc drive ) and when it arrives I'll put my non-functioning one in the box and send
it away. It took some time but I am very impressed that this is an option, I can keep playing my digital copy of titan fall in the mean time.

 

I just went to ebgames and they were willing to exchange mine so I will see if the drive works and update after.

 

had the same problem with titanfall bundle.... returned it and the second one was working

 

I have same problem, bought mine from Zavvi.com in UK - MS tell me that zavvi haven't updated the serial number on their system so they can't arrange for this yet?!
